The Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge, directed by Ivo van Hove, opens tonight, November 12, at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). The production, which swept the 2015 Olivier Awards -- winning for Best Revival, Best Director, and Best Actor (Mark Strong), will play an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 21, 2016.

The Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge, directed by Ivo van Hove, is currently in previews at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). The production, which swept the 2015 Olivier Awards -- winning for Best Revival, Best Director, and Best Actor (Mark Strong), opens on Thursday, November 12 and will play an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 21, 2016. Stripped to the essentials - a stage, a handful of actors, a rapt audience - ANTIGONE recently proved once again its place in the pantheon of the world's finest tragic plays. The international production of the Sophokles drama made a short stop in Washington for the last leg of a national tour of select American cities, helmed by the Belgian theatre wunderkind Ivo van Hove. French film and theatre star Juliette Binoche led an ensemble of U.K.-based actors who clearly illuminated the timeless tale of family devotion versus the law.

As previously announced, the Kennedy Center will present a Barbican and Les Theatres de la Ville de Luxembourg, in association with Toneelgroep Amsterdam, production of ANTIGONE by Sophocles, in a new translation by T.S. Eliot Prize-winning poet Anne Carson from tonight, October 22, through October 25, 2015 in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater.

Beginning tonight, Sep 24, and running through Oct 4, 2015, Anne Carson's new translation of ANTIGONE by Sophokles, starring Juliette Binoche in the title role, runs as part of BAM's 2015 Next Wave Festival.

The cast also includes Obi Abili, Kirsty Bushell, Samuel Edward-Cook, Finbar Lynch, Patrick O'Kane, and Kathryn Pogson.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Arthur Miller's THE CRUCIBLE will return to Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) this spring. Bill Camp (as Reverend John Hale), Jim Norton (as Giles Corey), Tavi Gevinson (as Mary Warren), and Jason Butler Harner (as Reverend Samuel Parris) are among those who will join previously announced stars Ben Whishaw (as John Proctor), Sophie Okonedo (as Elizabeth Proctor), Saoirse Ronan (as Abigail Williams), and Ciaran Hinds (as Deputy-Governor Danforth).

Beginning today, Monday, August 24, onstage seating is now available for the Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE directed by Ivo van Hove, which producers Scott Rudin and Lincoln Center Theater will bring to Broadway this fall.  For a more immersive experience, audiences are now able to purchase onstage seats, located on two sides of the stage, for $50 each during previews ($135 each after opening).  The view from these seats will be unrestricted and audience members will have a unique opportunity to be right beside the action onstage.
