Acclaimed singer and songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway returned to Birdland Jazz Club this week, ending her run tonight, January 26, 2013, of a special new show, 'Bridges' - inspired by the song by Brazilian composer Milton Nascimento. BroadwayWorld was there and brings you photos below!

Nicolas King, dubbed "the precociously polished crooner" by the New York Times, recently wowed audiences for six months at The Iridium NYC, as he jammed with Terese Genecco and her Little Big Band, as a featured guest vocalist, while simultaneously presenting critically-acclaimed solo performances at Don't Tell Mama and Metropolitan Room. The star-studded audiences were filled with the likes of Liza Minnelli, Gina Lollobrigida, Marylin Maye and Andrea McArdle, to name-drop a few. Peter and the Starcatcher will follow Avenue Q, Rent and Million Dollar Quartet by opening off Broadway at New World Stages. According to Telecharge, the show will begin off-Broadway on March 18. The producers of Gerard Alessandrini's acclaimed FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE AND KICKING! are pleased to announce that Lindsay Nicole Chambers will join the cast of the hit musical on Tuesday, February 5 at the 47th Street Theatre (304 West 47th Street). Last seen on Broadway in Lysistrata Jones, Ms. Chambers replaces Jenny Lee Stern whose last performance is Sunday, February 3rd. FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE AND KICKING! is scheduled to run through April 28th . The new recording, from DRG Records, is now available in stores, on iTunes and at Amazon.com.

After Peter and the Starcatcher plays its final performance on Broadway on January 20, 2013, the show will follow Avenue Q, Rent and Million Dollar Quartet by opening off Broadway at New World Stages. According to Telecharge, the show will begin off-Broadway on March 18. Casting has yet to be announced for the show's next incarnation.
