Sodom & Chimera Productions has revealed the first tease for Daughter of Dismay, the first narrative short to be shot in 70mm IMAX.  The film will be an epic, moving and emotional trip through a world of witchcraft and occultism, focusing on a different kind of witch than usually portrayed in media, one that doesn't focus on cliched depictions of devil worship, but on a much deeper and more human side.

Variety reports that Lee Cronin's Sundance premiere 'The Hole in The Ground' sold North American distribution rights to A24 and DirecTV.

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 - February 3, 2019.

Final casting has been announced for Early Doors Live, which will begin its sold out three week run in Salford on 29 August. Joining writers Craig Cash (Joe) and Phil Mealey (Duffy) on stage for the first ever time is John Henshaw (Ken), Susan Cookson (Tanya), Joan Kempson (Winnie), Lisa Millett (Debbie), James Quinn (Phil), Peter Wight (Nige), Judith Barker (Jean), Vicky Binns (June), Nick Birkinshaw (Tommy), Neil Hurst (Freddie) and Laura Woodward (Mel).

Sodom & Chimera Productions, known for their experimental features and short films, is inviting likeminded filmmakers to Europe this September with the inception of the Steel City Underground Film Festival (SCUFF). A celebration of horror, arthouse, experimental and weird cinema, SCUFF is curated and hosted by Sodom & Chimera's founder James Quinn (Flesh of the Void, Sulphur for Leviathan).   

Sodom & Chimera Productions has debuted the first trailer and new stills for SULPHUR FOR LEVIATHAN, the 13 minute companion piece to last year's The Temple of Lilith.

The score was created by Stephan Ortlepp's musical collective Musica Non Grata, who previously composed the score for Flesh of the Void. The Temple of Lilith also features music by the Canadian Doom Metal band Dopethrone.

EARLY DOORS, Britain's best loved pub sitcom is to return in summer 2018 live. Commissioned by leading West End producer Philip McIntyre to adapt their award winning television series for the stage, Craig Cash and Phil Mealey have written a brand new story featuring the same hilarious characters.

Sodom & Chimera has debuted a new trailer for Flesh of the Void, the feature-length debut of Austrian filmmaker James Quinn, following the end of principal photography. After a number of shorts, Quinn turns his eye on the threshold of death with Flesh of the Void.

 Celebrating over 20 years of acclaimed musical theatre training for young thespians, the Centenary Stage Company's Young Performers Workshop returns to the Little TheaterAugust 5 through August 14 with the annual Summer Festival of Shows.  These talented young thespians between the ages of 8 and 18 will present a variety of musical theater favorites including; Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?, Merrily We Roll Along, Miss Nelson has a Field Day, The Dark at the Top of the Stairs and the One-Act Festival.

A new musical co-production written by Paul Higgins and Deacon Blue singer and songwriter Ricky Ross and directed by Dominic Hill will be premiering at the Citizens Theatre this autumn. The Choir will be the first production to emerge from a partnership between The Citizens Theatre and Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG), which was launched to create brand new musical theatre using the talent of local writers and composers.

Every year, despite a litany of warnings they come to the Big Apple with big dreams. Warnings like: “You have to pay your dues.” “It's a tough business, kid.” “How are you going to survive?” There's no such thing as an overnight success, yet still they come to be at “the top of the heap,” as Kander and Ebb so eloquently put it. The four young performers featured here haven't yet vaulted to the top of the cabaret heap, but they've certainly made their marks with excellent shows during 2014, while exhibiting the potential to get there. The spotlight is already shining on Chrysten Peddie, Angela Dirksen, Rembert Block, and Kristoffer Lowe.
