The Theatre Artists Workshop(TAW) will present three staged readings of the classic Reginald Rose play 'Twelve Angry Men' on February 9 and 10 at 8 pm and February 11 at 3 pm for a suggested donation of $20. TAW is located at 5 Gregory Boulevard in Norwalk, CT.

As America celebrates its 240th Birthday today, let's talk about what is probably one of the greatest musicals ever written, and it only came about 46 years before Hamilton. 1776 dramatizes the story of how John Adams was able to persuade his colleagues to vote for American independence as well as signing the Declaration of Independence. While the musical does dramatize the most important event in American history, the story behind the musical is probably just as interesting.

James Noble, perhaps best known for his role as Governor Eugene Gatling on the ABC comedy BENSON, has passed away at the age of 94.

Members of New York City's philanthropic, business, health care and Alzheimer's communities joined forces on June 2nd at the annual "Forget-Me-Not" Gala, An Evening to End Alzheimer's hosted by the Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter. The Chapter raised $1.2 million at this year's event, which took place at The Pierre and was emceed by David Hyde Pierce, Tony Award winning actor and tireless advocate in the Alzheimer's community. Sachi Parker will perform this two-act one-woman play, written by herself and playwright Frederick Stroppel, at an invitation-only reading at the National Arts Club on Monday November 18th.

According to the NY Times, Cherry Lane Theatre's Angelina Fiordellisi, will resign as Artistic Director sometime between March and June of 2011. Additionally, Fiordellisi plans to sell the building, which has been a Greenwich Village staple since 1924, due to ongoing financial struggles.

Manhattan School of Music's Summer Camp, now in its 4th week, is in full swing preparing for the grand finale showcase next Thursday, August 2, and Friday, August 3 starting at 1:45 p.m.
