Now in its 38th year, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Presented by HCI Group Inc. is thrilled to present, in concert, between Friday, October 19 and Sunday, October 22, 2017: Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald, The Avett Brothers, Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox, The Temptations and The Four Tops, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Anderson East, The James Hunter Six, Ruth Eckerd Hall / Clearwater Jazz Holiday Youth Jazz Band and many more to be announced! This is the 12th year that the Clearwater Jazz Holiday will collaborate with Ruth Eckerd Hall to bring an amazing and diverse lineup of headline acts to Clearwater. Royal & Derngate's Made in Northampton 2015 season starts in April with the sweeping epic, Cyrano de Bergerac. Directed by Lorne Campbell, Anthony Burgess' translation of Edmund Rostand's classic play is a co-production with Northern Stage, and takes to the Royal stage in Northampton from Friday 3 April, transferring to Newcastle from 29 April.

The Spaniels, Willie Rogers of The Soul Stirrers and Stormy Weather come together at City Winery for the Chicago premiere of The Signal. Direct from standing-room only sellouts in the Midwest, this new musical revue is a true story told in narrative and song by a star-studded cast at 45 rpm. The Signal: A Doo Wop Rhapsody 'transmits' Monday, March 9, 8 p.m. at City Winery Chicago, 1200 W. Randolph.

With one night down in THE VOICE's Live Playoffs (read my review of last night's show here), the teams are taking shape, but, as of yet, no one has blown the doors off the joint. Written by Harvey Schmidt (music) and Tom Jones (book and lyrics), this musical allegory about the romance between a young couple and their meddling fathers has performed to sold-out houses worldwide. With such timeless, memorable musical numbers as 'Try to Remember,' 'They Were You' and 'Soon it's Gonna Rain.'

U.S. Symphonic Premiere of CHILDREN OF EDEN plays the Kansas City Music Hall July 15-24. As a very special companion piece to the production, the producers will present an evening of the works of legendary CHILDREN OF EDEN songwriter Stephen Schwartz. This July 18th gala concert event will include musical performances from the multi-award winning author's entire body of works, including PIPPIN, GODSPELL and WICKED. The evening will feature some of Broadway's top talents, Kansas City theatre veterans and the composer himself.
