Pacific Resident Theatre's THE DOCK BRIEF Opens Tonight

Multi-award winning Pacific Resident Theatre announces their fourth show of the 2014/2015 Season. Directed by PRT's Robert Bailey (The Turn of the Screw), performances for The Dock Brief will run through November 15, 2015 with an official press opening tonight, October 10th at 8:00p.m.

Looking for adventure--A fairy tale, fantasy and a tale about finding family? The classic children's story Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach returns to First Stage under the clever direction of Matt Daniels--a well-known name in Milwaukee. His talents extend to acting, directing and teaching theater academy classes to name only a few and this week he focuses on opening the Theatre for Young Audeince (TYA) production on October 16 in the Todd Wehr Theatre.

Columbia Festival of the Arts Sets Fall 2015 'British Invasion' Lineup

The Columbia Festival of the Arts is pleased to announce its 2015 Fall Festival, featuring a diverse array of arts events centered around the Fall Festival's theme: British Invasion. The British Invasion Festival will be presented October 2nd through 4th, during which time twelve events will be offered in multiple venues throughout Columbia.

SONGBIRD Set for 59E59 Theaters' 5A Season

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to welcome SONGBIRD, written by Michael Kimmel, with music & lyrics by Lauren Pritchard, and directed by JV Mercanti. Produced by Allison Bressi and Diana Buckhantz by special association with Less Than Rent Theatre for the 5A Season, SONGBIRD begins performances on Tuesday, October 20 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 29. Opening Night is Wednesday, October 28 at 7 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7 PM; Friday at 8 PM; Saturday at 2 PM & 8 PM; and Sunday at 3 PM. Please note: there is an added performance on Sunday, October 25 at 7 PM; there is no performance on Thursday, November 26 in observance of Thanksgiving. Tickets are $70 ($49 for 59E59 Members).
