The Artistic Home will open its 2017-18 season with a lesser known, but wholly timely piece: WEDDING BAND: A LOVE/HATE STORY IN BLACK AND WHITE, by eminent African-American playwright and author Alice Childress. It will open to the press Sunday, October 29 at 7:00 pm, following previews from October 25 - 28.

Two-time Tony Award winning stage actor Matthew Broderick has been cast in KATRINA: AMERICAN CRIME STORY, the second installment of the universally acclaimed, award-winning limited series from Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson.

Theatre Ventures is developing the play for a Broadway bow to follow their successful production of Oscar® winner William Goldman's adaptation of MISERY starring Bruce Willis and Laurie Metcalf.

The new film THE AMERICAN SIDE is set to hit theaters in liminted release in the spring of 2016. The film stars Matthew Broderick, Alicja Bachleda, Camilla Belle, Robert Forster, Greg Stuhr, , Janeane Garofalo and Robert Vaughn.

Producers of the Broadway revival of A.R. Gurney's SYLVIA just announced that two-time Tony Award-winner Matthew Broderick (Brighton Beach Memoirs, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) completes the cast of the forthcoming production, to be staged by Tony Award-winning director Daniel Sullivan (Proof).

Matthew Broderick (IT'S ONLY A PLAY) will join Chloë Sevigny and UK actress Shannon Tarbet in the dark comedy LOOK AWAY.

The circus is coming to the Durham Performing Arts Center from May 12th-17th in the form of the national touring production of the Tony Award-Winning revival of Pippin! In this national tour happens to be John Rubinstein, who originated the title role in the orginal Broadway production back in 1972.
