In fact, according to the human member of the duo she hadn't yet turned her key to the on position.

James Barbour was the latest in the line of celebrities to receive an immortalizing caricature that will grace the walls of the iconic Broadway restaurant Sardi's. Also in attendance were Barbour's family and his fellow PHANTOM OF THE OPERA cast members. BroadwayWorld was there for the event, check out the photos below!

Over the years, as we all orbit in the same Broadway Asian community, I got to know Ali Ewoldt and see her perform various roles, including Carrie in CAROUSEL, Tuptim in THE KING AND I, and Luisa in THE FANTASTICKS. Always happy to be supporting part of the Tribe and seeing someone who looked like me starring in these iconic shows, it became evident that Ewoldt possesses one of the most pristine soprano voices out there today. I knew that it would only be a matter of time before her next big Broadway break, and that brings us to today. She stars as Christine in the long-running mega-hit THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and will be making her solo debut at Feinstein's/54 Below with FROM PHANTOM TO PHANTOM on March 12. Ahead of the show, Ewoldt was kind enough to take time to answer a few questions for us.

Due to popular demand, BroadwayWorld Cabaret is adding two new categories to the 2016 BWW Cabaret Awards to celebrate those special shows that ran only once or twice in this season's eligibility period between November 1, 2015 through October 31, 2016.

After six dedicated weeks of fundraising, the brightest stars from Broadway and Off-Broadway's biggest hits will share one-of-a-kind performances at the 28th annual Gypsy of the Year competition on Monday, December 5 (4:30 pm) and Tuesday, December 8 (2 pm). The show is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
