Photo Flash: MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET: THE MUSICAL Opens at TATC

Director Linda Fortunato has cast Neil Friedman as Kris Kringle, Stella Rose Hoyt as Susan, Courtney Jones as Doris and Christopher Kale Jones as Fred for Theatre at the Center's Miracle On 34th Street: The Musical. Previews began November 15 with Opening Night on November 18 and a continued run through December 23. This production is sponsored in part by American Community Bank.

Mark Crawford's BED AND BREAKFAST Brings A Dizzying Cast Of Characters To GCTC

A heartfelt comedy about "being out" in small town Ontario, Mark Crawford's Bed and Breakfast is bringing dozens of hilarious characters - played by only two actors - to the GCTC stage.  When Brett inherits the family home, he and Drew move out of quick-paced Toronto to set up a B&B in a sleepy little Ontario town. What follows is a madcap journey through renovations, family skeletons, and finding a place to call home. In partnership with Arts Club Theatre Company (Vancouver), Ashlie Corcoran directs this production starring Mark Crawford and Paul Dunn.

Milwaukee Rep Announces Cast and Creative Team of JUNK

Milwaukee Repertory Theater is pleased to announce the complete cast and creative team for the Midwest premiere of Junk by Milwaukee native and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Ayad Akhtar. Since its Broadway premiere at Lincoln Center last year, Ayad Akhtar along with Artistic Director Mark Clements have continued to hone Junk to bring Milwaukee audiences a new, two hour no intermission riveting story set in the financial world of the 1980s.

Houston Ballet Hosts Its First All-Female Choreographic Workshop

Houston Ballet set out to provide a space for women to explore choreography and tell their stories through its inaugural all-female choreographic workshop, elle emerge. Women from Houston Ballet, Houston Ballet Academy, Cincinnati Ballet and Kansas City Ballet answered the call to premiere complete pieces and movements from upcoming works for around 100 ballet supporters at Houston Ballet on November 10.

HOME, I'M DARLING Returns to Theatr Clwyd

Theatr Clwyd today announces new work for 2019. Following its previously announced West End transfer, Artistic Director Tamara Harvey's smash hit production of Laura Wade's Home, I'm Darling, will return home to Theatr Clwyd for the final week of April - in a co-production with the National Theatre and Fiery Angel. Also opening at the company's home base is a major revival of Tennessee Williams' Orpheus Descending - in a first-time co-production with London's Menier Chocolate Factory. Following performances in Wales Tamara Harvey's production transfers to the Menier Chocolate Factory.

The Story Pirates Perform Songs From New Album At December 9th NYC Show

The Story Pirates aren't your typical swashbuckling sailors.They don't steal gold, pillage villages, or claim land; they're searching for a different kind of treasure: kid's wildest, most imaginative stories. Stories by children from NYC and beyond will be brought to life and staged by the Story Pirates' professional improvisational and comedic actors - replete with music, costumes and sets. During the show, the Story Pirates will also take story ideas from the audience and turn them into hilarious  musical sketch comedy. The hosts and talent from the Story Pirates podcast will also perform.

A&A Ballet Presents THE ART DECO NUTCRACKER

A&A BALLET (A&A), under the artistic direction of Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev, has announced the principal casting for "The Art Deco Nutcracker" (© 2017 Alexei Kremnev), which will be performed at Chicago's Studebaker Theatre at 410 S. Michigan Ave, November 30-December 2, 2018.
