FRAWLEY BECKER is a published book and short story author and a published and three-time prize-winning playwright. A man of many talents, he was a State Department Entertainment Director for military bases outside Paris during the Cold War, founded the first African-American theatre company within the U.S. military in 1959, formed Paris Playhouse in 1963 and was the first to professionally produce Edward Albee plays in France. For the next ten years he worked as a bilingual dialogue coach in films while living in Paris, coaching Audrey Hepburn, Peter O'Toole, Rex Harrison, Omar Sharif, Jacqueline Bisset, Ann-Margret, Samantha Eggar, Robert Ryan, Gene Wilder and all the Oompa-Loompas of the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Back in the U.S., Becker worked as a location manager for features including Jerry Maguire, Steel Magnolias, and the original Footloose, and TV movies for Oprah Winfrey Presents; and was a production executive at The Disney Studios. His award-winning, searing drama 'Tiger by the Tail' has its west coast premiere March 6 through April 19 at the Lonny Chapman Theatre in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, CA. The play runs today, March 6th through April 19th, Todays and Saturdays at 8PM, Sundays at 2PM, at the Lonny Chapman Theatre located at the edge of the NoHo Arts District in North Hollywood, CA.

Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal will star in an upcoming national tour of LOVE LETTERS, celebrated playwright A.R. Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances. Following a critically-acclaimed Broadway run, the national tour of Gregory Mosher's production will launch in Summer 2015, visiting Los Angeles, Detroit, Boston, Dallas, Baltimore and others to be announced. When Broward Stage Door Theatre's artistic director Derelle Bunn mentioned to director Michael Leeds and choreographer Kevin Black that she had an open time slot for a show, and asked them if they'd be interested in 'doing something', they jumped at the chance. "Kevin and I have wanted to work together for a while, and this was a terrific opportunity," says Leeds. "And then, of course, the question became - what should we do?!"

The dramatic live action rescue documentary Lion Ark brought its tally of awards to six at Palm Beach International Film Festival winning the audience vote for Best Documentary in a field of 28 documentaries. In its 19th year, the Palm Beach International Film Festival featured 165 films, closing with Jason Priestley introducing Cas & Dylan, which he directed, starring Richard Dreyfuss.

Breaking Glass Pictures and Rough Diamond Productions announced today's DVD release of Bernard Rose's 2 Jacks, produced by Julia Verdin. Based on Tolstoy's short story 'The Two Hussars,' the modernized film is Rose's fourth Tolstoy adaptation. 2 Jacks had its world premiere at the Montreal World Film Festival.
