The Ogunquit Playhouse is proud to produce the U.S. premiere of the new musical-comedy, Grumpy Old Men the Musical on stage through September 1 - just in time to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the hit film that starred Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau and Ann-Margret. This hilarious new show was penned by Dan Remmes, with music by Neil Berg and lyrics by Nick Meglin. Director for the Ogunquit production of Grumpy Old Men the Musical is Matt Lenz.

2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center announced that Sarahbeth Grossman will be joining the theater as the full-time Artistic Producer. The producer is a key member of the artistic staff at Dallas Theater Center, overseeing the day-to-day producing of Dallas Theater Center's productions and working collaboratively within the organization and community to achieve both short?term and long?range artistic and institutional goals. An independent Tony Award-nominated producer, Grossman comes from New York City where she has over a dozen theater credits on Broadway, Off-Broadway, national tours, and in the West End.

Julie Smith Teaches Floor Barre & Jazz Master Classes At Marblehead School Of Ballet

Performer Julie Pappas Smith returns as a guest faculty member to the Marblehead School of Ballet (MSB). The North Shore native will teach Floor Barre on Friday, July 27 from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. and Broadway Jazz from 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the school, located at 115 Pleasant Street in picturesque Marblehead, Massachusetts. The master classes are open to the public.

Jean Smart (“Legion,” “Fargo”) will recur in Bravo Media's “Dirty John” playing Arlane Hart, Debra's (Connie Britton) mother. Smart will join Britton and Eric Bana in the scripted anthology series based on the articles and breakout true crime podcast of the same name from Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard. This new production is based on the original Aus dem Schwarzspanierhausby Dr. Gerhard von Breuning with text by Felder and features some of Beethoven's greatest compositions from his keyboard works such as the "Emperor Concerto" to the 5thand 9thSymphonies, his keyboard sonatas, and chamber music.
