The Porters of Hellsgate have announced the extension of the world premiere of DI Lady DI, written and performed by Charlotte Munson. DI Lady DI was named Best Musical at the 2022 Hollywood Fringe Festival and was nominated for Fringe First and Top of the Fringe awards.

The Porters of Hellsgate have announced the world premiere of DI Lady DI, written and performed by Charlotte Munson, is set to open at the Hollywood Fringe Festival on June 5th. DI Lady DI is a one woman, coming-of-age, powerhouse, new fairytale musical. Comedic and searingly innovative, DI Lady DI eschews the fairytale glamor of the People’s Princess to illuminate her struggles in a paternalistic society and dysfunctional family.

On Septembet 14th in the Heart of Times Square, 60 New York City Theatre Professionals (ranging from Broadway Veterans, to Radio City Rockettes) began to arise from the hustle and bustle to sing and dance their hearts out about the hottest nail product on the market: Shellac, created by CND (www.CND.COM). This was one of the biggest and most exciting Musical Theatre Flashmob's ever produced in Times Square, not just a random step touch dance number but a fully stage production number with ladies belting their faces and kicking about as high as the second floor of the A.E.A building.

Continuing their fifth season in the summer of 2011, The Porters of Hellsgate return to The Whitmore-Lindley Theatre Complex in North Hollywood with William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. Taking liberty with time and place, The Porters explore race, class, sexuality and wealth for their six-week run of the Bard's ultimately tragic comedy.
