Praised by Billboard Magazine as 'a singer with exciting vocal ability,' singer/songwriter Laury Shelley is proud to announce the release of her long-awaited new CD EP. Time Is A Healer , covers a variety of genres: soul, r & b, funk, jazz, adult contemporary and pop power ballads. The album marks the emergence of a major artist, featuring five songs composed by Laury. The cornerstone of the album is a homage to her mentor and past work with Michel Legrand: Laury's electrifying, funk-tinged, version of the Oscar-winning The Windmills of Your Mind, the album's first single.

New Adventures is delighted to announce six international tour dates for Matthew Bourne's "CINDERELLA" spanning China, Japan and America. The tour opens at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Centre on Tuesday 7 August 2018 before travelling to Shanghai; Tokyo; Charlotte and Washington, finishing with a five-week season in Los Angeles in March 2019. The McCallum Theatre presents "Jack @ 80: Jack Jones' 80th Birthday" on Saturday, March 3, at 8:00pm. Jack promises a show reflecting his long and illustrious career. Jack Jones was born in Hollywood on the night his singer/movie star father, Allan Jones, recorded his hit 'Donkey Serenade." He would make his famous parents (his mother was the elegant actress Irene Hervey) proud for the diversity and breadth of his talent. Jack attended University High School in West Los Angeles, studying drama and singing with private teachers. A young athlete, he gave up track and football to devote himself to the arts.

GIRLSCHOOL's third annual 100% women-identified-fronted three-day music and ideas festival will take place at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles from February 2 – 4, 2017. The lineup includes Shirley Manson + The Girlschool Choir, Jay Som, Kristin Kontrol + The Kids (with special guests including Best Coast), Leikeli47, Moon Honey, Mereba, Amber Coffman, BOSCO, Boyfriend, FAARROW, Lauren Ruth Ward, Soccer Mommy, Low Leaf, Akua, Pinky Pinky, A.W., Mary Lattimore, Nick + Navi, Drum & Lace, Desi Mo, Chelsea Jade, and Polartropica. DJ sets by Zuri Adia, Rituals of Mine, and Kim + The Created. New lineup additions include a cameo by Best Coast, plus sets by Bosco, Leikeli47, and Lesser Pieces, and DJ sets by Erika Kayne, Myra Hasson, Denise Hewitt, and Rachael Pazdan (The Hum). Speakers include Carrie Brownstein, a poetry stage curated by Jack Jones Literary Arts, a panel on activism led by Whitney Bell, a Talking Circle by STRONGER, a panel on immigration and creativity by Eve Barlow, and a songwriting workshop by MUNA. Net proceeds will benefit WriteGirl.
