Due to popular demand, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts announces an added second show of Dr. Phillips Center Jazz Orchestra's Vocal Jazz Summit.

The Kennedy Center presents the New Adventures North American tour of Matthew Bourne's critically acclaimed production of The Red Shoes, October 10 to 15, 2017. The tour will continue to Blumenthal Performing Arts, Charlotte and City Center, New York; having already played at Ahmanson Theatre, Los Angeles.

To celebrate the arrival of BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL premiering at Sydney Lyric Theatre this September and the anniversary of Carole King's seminal second album TAPESTRY going #1 on the Billboard chart, Sony Music Entertainment Australia is set to release the brand new tribute record, BEAUTIFUL – A TRIBUTE TO CAROLE KING on July 14.

The cast is set for the acclaimed Matthew Bourne / New Adventures production of "The Red Shoes." Presented by Center Theatre Group and Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center, the American premiere of "The Red Shoes" runs September 15 through October 1, 2017, with the opening set for September 19.

Marcie Gorman-Althof and Michael Lifshitz, the producing partners behind MNM Productions, one of South Florida's hottest new theatre companies, today announced that they are partnering with Legends Radio 100.3FM to promote their next production, Stephen Sondheim's COMPANY, which will run July 21 through August 6 at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse.

New York based trumpeter and composer Glenn Makos' newest release - 'The Michel Legrand Project' - with his quartet reimagines the music of Michel Legrand as Legrand celebrates his 85th birthday in 2017. The genesis of the project was the result of a kitchen renovation. 'With all of the construction noise in my house, I had a difficult time writing for seventeen people what was then my current project composing for big band. I've always admired Legrand's music and one morning last summer, I woke up and heard his music in my head. It was a quartet, ironically, without a piano, sort of like Ornette meets Legrand.'
