Kitchen Theatre Company, Central New York's Off Broadway theatre, announces its 2018-19 season: seven exciting productions that fit perfectly with the Kitchen's mission to create bold theatre in our intimate space that engages community and sparks important conversations. ALO is more than a band. It's a musical relationship that has endured for over two decades, with band members playing in numerous projects together and apart. Following the 2012 release of their freewheeling Sounds Like This, the band took time off to work on various side projects. Zach Gill (keys/vocals) toured the world with the band's college pal Jack Johnson; Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz (guitar/vocals) played shows with the Grateful Dead's Phil Lesh; Steve Adams (bass/vocals) toured and recorded with Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers; Dave Brogan (drums/vocals) joined up with Utah band, Mokie. These and other endeavors have influenced the band's new album Tangle Of Time.

Cleveland Play House (CPH) sets up the boxing ring and goes back to one of the biggest fighting events of the 20th Century with The Royale. Written by Emmy Award nominated TV writer, producer, and playwright, Marco Ramirezbrings forth a vocabulary in The Royale that expresses the narrative through physical motion and percussion. The Royale, sponsored in part by Robert Paul & Margaret Kennedy, will be performed in the Outcalt Theatre from May 5th - May 27th under the direction of CPH Associate Artistic Director Robert Barry Fleming.

Today, Portland, OR-based singer-songwriter John Craigie announces the April 21st vinyl release date of his new full length Scarecrow. The completely analog album was recorded live to a 2 inch tape, mastered to tape, and cut straight to be pressed to vinyl.
