Directed by frequent Theatrical Outfit collaborator Patdro Harris (Travelin' Black, Fly, and Simply Simone), The Royale runs October 10 - November 4 downtown at The Balzer Theater at Herren's.
Today Portland, OR-based singer-songwriter John Craigie released his a new version of his song “I Wrote Mr. Tambourine Man.” Recorded live at the Greek Theatre with Jack Johnson, the track was praised by Billboard. Proceeds from the song will benefit Johnson's All At Once Non-Profit Partners from the Greek Theatre show, to support healthy watersheds, local food, and environmental projects.

The critically acclaimed hit family comedy series “black-ish” announced today that it has teamed up with prolific designer and influencer Dominic Ciambrone, also known as The Shoe Surgeon, to customize five pairs of “black-ish” branded sneakers. Playing off of Johnson family patriarch Dre's fondness for Nikes, the five unique pairs of sneakers were exclusively designed and constructed by The Shoe Surgeon to celebrate the launch of “black-ish” in national syndication five nights a week, beginning Monday, Sept. 17, 2018. All five pairs will be included in a prize package posted on Omaze, an online fundraising platform, with proceeds benefitting Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

The non-profit Playing For Change Foundation's annual PFC Day on September 15 promises to be its biggest celebration of global talent to date. Venues in the U.K.'s Cannock, plus Regina, Canada, and Santa Fe, Argentina, as well as Brazil's Rio De Janeiro, are a few of the newest locales that already include Brazil's São Paulo and Curitiba, Ibiza, Spain, Diamante, Argentina, Los Angeles, California and Mexico City, Mexico. The roster recently was updated with more U.S. participants including New Orleans' famed Nola Brewery with confirmed performers including Grammy Award-winning blues legend Vasti Jackson, Tin Men featuring Washboard Chaz and Tom McDermott, and Six Springs Tavern in Richardson Texas where local bands will be featured from 1 PM to 1 AM.
