Pioneer Theatre Company presents J.T. Rogers' award-winning drama, Oslo, in its first major regional premiere, running Friday, Sept. 14 through Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018.

The Dramatists Legal Defense Fund (DLDF), in partnership with PEN America, is pleased to present the third annual Banned Together: A Censorship Cabaret in fifteen cities as a part of Banned Books Week (September 24-29) -- the annual celebration of the freedom to read. The show will be performed over one week, some simultaneously, in participating cities, including Baltimore.

Northern Stage announces its 2018-19 Season, a season of plays connected by a theme of peace in a turbulent world. The main stage season is sponsored by Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital and begins with a rotating repertory of the 2017 Tony Award-winner for Best Play, Oslo by J.T. Rogers, and Sarah Ruhl's Dear Elizabeth. Inspired by the 1993 Oslo Peace Accords between the Israelis and Palestinians, Oslo is a deeply personal story about the individuals behind an historic peace negotiation and their all-too-human ambitions.

Round House Theatre announces casting for the five mainstage shows that will comprise its 41st season. Nederlander Presentations, Inc., James L. Nederlander, President, is pleased to announce the North American tour of Lincoln Center Theater's critically-acclaimed production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY. Directed by Bartlett Sher, the North American tour will launch in the Fall of 2019. Tour cities and casting will be announced at a later date.

ADMISSIONS just opened last night, March 12 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). Ben Edelman, Andrew Garman, Jessica Hecht, Ann McDonough, and Sally Murphy star in this new play by Joshua Harmon, directed by Daniel Aukin. 

The 2018/19 Mirvish season will feature six Canadian premieres, one North American premiere, one pre-Broadway engagement and five new productions. A total of 16 shows will play at Mirvish theatres from June 2018 to July 2019. The main subscription season will feature seven shows and the Off-Mirvish season three shows. There will be six bonus shows that will not be on subscription.

Ruthie Ann Miles will reprise her Tony Award winning and critically acclaimed Broadway role of Lady Thiang in the West End production of THE KING AND I, which opens at the London Palladium on 21 June (Press Night 3 July). She will join fellow Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara (Anna) and Tony and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe (The King) in the Broadway transfer of the multi award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic musical.

Last night, December 4, The Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust awarded playwrights Ayad Akhtar and Lucas Hnath with 2017 Steinberg Playwright Awards. The acclaimed writers were honored at the 10th Annual 'Mimi' Awards that were presented at Lincoln Center Theater. BroadwayWorld has photos from the ceremony below!

Theatre Communications Group's (TCG) 2017 Gala celebrated the War Paint creative team, and featured special performances by actor Samuel E. Wright accompanied by Michael Forman. Wright played the part of Mufasa in the original cast of The Lion King on Broadway. Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has announced that its 2017 Gala Evening will honor the award-winning artistry and ground-breaking careers of mother and daughter Phylicia Rashad and Condola Rashad. This year's gala will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at New York's Espace (635 West 42nd Street).
