Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group is thrilled to announce that musical theater performers Jep Go, Dean Rosen, Steven Conde, Rhenwyn Gabalonzo, and Leanne Mamonong complete the cast of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical The Band's Visit. The show opens in March at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City.

BroadwayWorld has a first look at Janet Dacal - most known for her performances in The Prince of Broadway, Wonderland, In the Heights, and Good Vibrations- in the national tour of The Band's Visit. She stepped into the role of Dina -succeeding Chilina Kennedy- beginning January 3, 2020, at the Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, New York.

Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group has announced that acclaimed writer, actor, and singer Rody Vera will join the cast of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical THE BAND'S VISIT as Tewfiq. THE BAND'S VISIT opens on March 13 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City.

The first national tour of The Band's Visit is now making its way across the country! After a mix-up at the border, an Egyptian Police Band is sent to a remote village in the middle of the Israeli desert. With no bus until morning and no hotel in sight, these unlikely travelers are taken in by the locals. Under the spell of the desert sky, their lives become intertwined in the most unexpected ways. THE BAND'S VISIT celebrates the deeply human ways music, longing and laughter can connect us all.

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) announces a one week extension for the world premiere production of Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven by Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Adly Guirgis (Between Riverside and Crazy), directed by Obie Award winner John Ortiz, and co-produced with LAByrinth Theater Company. The production, which opens on Monday, December 9th will now play through Sunday, December 29th, 2019 Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

DPAC has announced that THE BAND'S VISIT, one of the most Tony Award-winning musicals in history, will be coming to the Triangle from April 7 to April 12, 2020, as part of SunTrust Broadway's 2019 / 2020 Season. The tour of the critically acclaimed and 10-time Tony Award-winning production launched at the Providence Performing Arts Center on June 25, 2019 and continued on to play Washington, DC. THE BAND'S VISIT will play over 32 cities in its first season including Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Boston, MA and Los Angeles, CA.
