Patti LuPone is bringing her no-nonsense Broadway swagger to the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre this spring in a new show titled, DON'T MONKEY WITH BROADWAY, as part of Symphony Space's 'Project B-Way/95' series.

The fourth LONDON FESTIVAL OF CABARET (LFoC) this year takes place from April 22 - May 8 and once again will be bringing the capital alive with the sound of sung cabaret and musical theatre shows.

New York-Sunnyside Concert Series presents Helen Hayes Award Winner Brian Childers and performer Amanda Keane-Stack in a new concert enAtled Life, Love and Other Mysteriesis. The world-renowned Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis and guest vocalist Kate Davis will debut arrangements of tunes from Broadway's most beloved productions including 'Annie Get Your Gun,' 'South Pacific,' 'West Side Story,' 'Fiddler On The Roof,' 'The Producers' in a special concert event entitled World on a String: Swinging Songs of Broadway. World on a String: Swinging Songs of Broadway will take place in Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater on April 14-16 at 8:00pm. Since its debut on Broadway in 1946, Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun has been a blockbuster musical favorite. To welcome its 14th season, Musical Theater Heritage at Crown Center will feature 20 performances of the Tony Award-winner from March 31 - April 24, 2016.

Every time I attend something in jazz pianist Ronny Whyte's estimable weekly series at the welcoming, modern Saint Peter's Church (619 Lexington Avenue at 54th Street), I'm glad I came. The place is airy, peaceful, and sunny with spacious pew and tiered seating. Acoustics are splendid. The audience is respectful. And they have Billy Strayhorn's piano. Yesterday's easy-going hour featured Alex Leonard on piano and vocals (one forgets how fine a vocalist he is), David Kingsnorth on bass, and veteran Al Gafa on guitar.

Continuing to break all box office records during its National Tour, the smash hit Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin is returning to Chicago for a limited, four-week engagement starting Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Felder's Chicago theatrical home, the Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted Street, Chicago. The show will run through Sunday, May 8, 2016 with a press opening on Sunday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m. The Chicago presentation will immediately be followed by a special One-Night-Only New York Presentation at The Town Hall on June 6, 2016, broadcast internationally by the WFMT Radio Network with the entire Berlin family in attendance.

On Wednesday, April 13 at 8:00 p.m. at the fashion-forward Soho shoe boutique Fiorentini + Baker, Soldier Kane will play live (Soldier on violin and banjo, Kane on guitar and drums) in front of projections of Art Kane's groundbreaking photographs to celebrate the release of their new CD Soldier Kane on Mulatta Records as well as the success of the recently released Art Kane book from Reel Art Press.

After their sold-out show at The Duplex in December, Disney Miscast!, Gay and Girl Studios return to The Duplex. The Many Roads to Oz is a cabaret involving all three of everyone's favorite journeys to the Emerald City. This show features songs from The Wiz, Wicked & The Wizard of Oz. All three in a combination to make for a wonderful night. The Many Roads to Oz is produced, written, and directed by Alexa Bishop and Jason Hillard of Gay and Girl Studios.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) and Columbia University School of the Arts (Carol Becker, Dean of Faculty) have just announced Columbia@Roundabout, an initiative aimed at educating and developing the next generation of playwrights and theatre administrators, as both institutions celebrate their 50th anniversaries. No other collaborative partnership in the New York area brings together an esteemed Ivy League MFA program with a Tony Award- winning not-for-profit theatre. The initiative is made possible by a grant from the Tow Foundation.
