TimesTalks, The New York Times live conversation and performance series, is proud to host a conversation and screening with Academy Award-winning actor Charlize Theron and Academy Award-nominated director Jason Reitman on May 2, moderated by veteran New York Times contributor Logan Hill. 

The Rabbit and the Fallen Sycamore, the third album in a trilogy by singer-songwriter Kristo Rodzevski and his group of jazz progressives, will be released by Much Prefer Records on May 25, 2018.

Austin-based folk-pop virtuosos The Belle Sounds are thrilled to announce the forthcoming release of their album 'The Sea Within' on Friday, July 20. Their official album release party will take place on Saturday, July 21 at One-2-One Bar located at 1509 S. Lamar Blvd. St. 600, Austin, Texas. Doors are at 7:30 p.m., with The Sanco Loop playing at 8 p.m., The Belle Sounds at 9:30 p.m. and the Brandon Aguilar Band at 11:30 p.m.Tickets are $12 and there will be a free download card of the album with entry. TINA, a new musical based on the life of legendary artist Tina Turner just opened at the Aldwych Theatre and is currently booking to 20 October 2018. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd and written by Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins, choreography is by Anthony Van Laast, with set and costume designs by Mark Thompson, musical supervision by Nicholas Skilbeck, lighting by Bruno Poet, sound by Nevin Steinberg, projection design by Jeff Sugg and orchestrations by Ethan Popp.

TimesTalks is pleased to present live iterations of two popular New York Times columns and a podcast at the first TimesTalks Festival, from April 13th - 15th. Corner Office, Table for Three, and The Daily podcast will be brought to life at the weekend-long festival, which will feature a wide range of panels and events at TheTimesCenter, located in the Renzo Piano-designed New York Times Building.

The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia (COP) continues our Improvisionaries season presenting trailblazing composer and electric violist, Martha Mooke.  COP's fifth series program at the Kimmel Center, Mozart, Mooke, and Faure, will feature Mozart's brilliant Symphony No. 38 "Prague." This iconic work received its first performance in Prague during one of Mozart's most successful tours to the city. The "Prague" symphony will share the program with a new commission by Martha Mooke. Mooke's unique style crosses the classical, jazz, and rock genres with a compelling and singular musical voice. In addition to concert appearances worldwide, Mooke's work has been featured in recordings that often defy categorization, including David Bowie's Heathen CD.

The 17th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, revealed its feature film lineup championing the discovery of emerging voices and celebrating new work from established filmmaking talent. To close the Festival, Tribeca will World Premiere The Fourth Estate, from Oscar®-nominated director Liz Garbus, which follows The New York Times' coverage of the Trump administration's first year. The Centerpiece Gala will be the World Premiere of Drake Doremus' sci-fi romance Zoe starring Ewan McGregor, Lea Seydoux, Rashida Jones, and Theo James. The 2018 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 18-29.

Singer-songwriters Sam Woolf and The Como Brothers are releasing “On It”, the soulful new single from the upcoming EP Backbeat in the Morning. The single and EP were co-written and co-produced by Woolf and The Como Brothers, and recorded in New York City with Grammy-winning engineer Kenta Yonesaka (Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar).
