With Zadie Smith’s The Wife of Willesden about to transfer to the US, Kiln Theatre has announced the full cast for the world première of Ryan Calais Cameron’s new play based on a true event in the life of actor Sidney Poitier in 1950s Hollywood – Ian Bonar (Bobby), Ivanno Jeremiah (Sidney), and Daniel Lapaine (Mr Parks).

The West End transfer of the highly acclaimed Young Vic production of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, produced by Elliott & Harper Productions and Cindy Tolan and starring Wendell Pierce and Sharon D Clarke began its run at the Piccadilly Theatre in London on Friday 24 October 2019, where it will run until 4 January 2020.

Elliott & Harper Productions and Cindy Tolan today announced new cast members joining Wendell Pierce and Sharon D Clarke in the West End transfer of the highly acclaimed, sold-out Young Vic production of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman at the Piccadilly Theatre from 24 October 2019.

The acclaimed new Young Vic production of Death of a Salesman, directed by Marianne Elliot, will transfer to the West End's Picadilly Theatre.

Following her recent award-winning success on Company and Angels in America, Marianne Elliott co-directs Death of a Salesman with Miranda Cromwell.

Artistic Director of the Young Vic, Kwame Kwei-Armah, today announces the full cast for Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, a co-production with Elliott & Harper Productions and Cindy Tolan.

Be Prepared is a show about two people struggling with loss. Through a freak misdialed number, these strangers suddenly find themselves helping each other to remember and connect to the people they loved, and this unwitting collaboration between Tom and Mr Chambers is kind of how I feel about how Be Prepared came into existence.

Following its premiere at Edinburgh Fringe 2016, Ian Bonar and Rob Watt collaborate once again to bring Be Prepared to VAULT Festival for a limited run. This is a heart-breaking and moving yet hilarious play about one man struggling to remember while another finds himself unable to forget.

Be Prepared is Bonar's first full-length play, and has been developed at the RSC's studio theatre The Other Place. By turns poignant and gut-wrenchingly funny, Be Prepared is based on Bonar's own experiences and includes verbatim extracts of his grandfather's memoir. The production is directed by Rob Watt, with lighting design is by Elliot Griggs and sound design by Alex Crispin. 

Full casting is announced for Gregory Doran's new production of the rarely-performed Jacobean domestic tragedy by Dekker, Ford and Rowley, The Witch of Edmonton. As previously announced Eileen Atkins returns to the RSC in the title role of Elizabeth Sawyer as the RSC continues to stage the plays of Shakespeare's contemporaries in the Swan Theatre. The Witch of Edmonton opens for previews on the 23 October 2014 and will play in repertoire with an extended run of The White Devil until the 29 November 2014.

Full casting is announced for the first two plays in the 'Roaring Girls' season. Led by Royal Shakespeare Company Deputy Artistic Director, Erica Whyman these rarely performed Jacobethan plays reveal some of the great parts written for and about women.
