The Dramatists Guild of America is the originator of the Dramatists Guild Fellows program, with a mission is to enhance the sense of community among developing American dramatists by offering a year-long workshop designed to augment their training with practical experience and career information resources.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre, presents Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, the Tony Award-winning play that first brought Stoppard to the attention of an international audience - a position he has held in the half century since its premiere in 1967. ANW Producing Artistic Director Geoff Elliott directs. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead performs from October 7 to November 18 (Press Opening October 13).

Multi-platinum international music sensation CELTIC WOMAN have much to celebrate this year: the just-released Top Ten Billboard 'World' albumANCIENT LAND (the group's 13th), their annual holiday tour which launched this week (November 26) and a PBS special to be followed by a full North American headlining tour in 2019.

Hampstead Theatre has announced the appointment of Roxana Silbert as its new Artistic Director and Joint Chief Executive. Roxana will join the theatre in spring 2019, and her first season is to commence in September 2019 - kick-starting Hampstead's 60th Birthday celebrations.

'Before This New Year,' a coming-of-age identity and right-of-first-passage love story by playwright Liana Sonenclar, will play a reading for industry on Monday, November 19th at 7 PM, at the Jerry Orbach Theater at the Theater Center at 210 West 50th Street, and will feature a notable cast. The play is helmed by director Kimberly Loren Eaton, who has been working on the development of the piece with Sonenclar the past several months through her creative development and production company Theatrum Mundi Productions.

Tim Realbuto, the New York stage actor who recently wrapped principal photography playing the lead role of Patrick Nolan in YES, his first major motion picture, will conceive, co-direct and produce a revival of Neil Simon's Tony and Pulitzer Prize Award winning play LOST IN YONKERS on Sunday, December 9th at 7:30 pm.

Major Murphy follows up their debut long play 'No. 1' with a set of bedroom recordings archiving a time when Jacob Bullard was discovering his voice as a songwriter and the band was finding their footing within that space. Introducing this set of songs is the first single “Come By Sunday”, a breezy retro-tinged, sentimental love song that Bullard says that he 'wrote this song when I fell in love with Jacki. It's about that feeling you get when you are with someone and, as the saying goes, 'time stops,' and you simply enjoy each others company.' The McCallum Theatre presents Peter Cincotti on Saturday, December 1, at 8:00pm as part of the Fitz's Jazz Cafe at the McCallum series. Born in New York City, Peter Cincotti started tinkling the keys of a toy piano when he was three years old. A year later, he started taking lessons, but his mother asked the teacher to let him play whatever he wanted and to not force classical technique. By the age of nine, he was composing and, in his mid-teens, took up singing. Peter soon became a quadruple threat - pianist, singer, composer and arranger. He spent much of his childhood going to school during the day and playing clubs at night. Legendary music producer Phil Ramone was there one of those nights, a discovery that led Ramone to produce Peter's debut album which reached #1 on the Billboardjazz charts, making 18-year old Cincotti the youngest artist ever to do so.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) has just announced complete casting for Fiasco Theater's new production of MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, book by George Furth, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Fiasco's production will be directed by Fiasco Co-Artistic Director Noah Brody, is based on and with additional material from the original play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, and will feature Music Direction & Orchestrations by Alexander Gemignani and Choreography by Lorin Latarro.
