According to Ken Davenport, lead producer for the upcoming revival of GODSPELL, a cast recording will be made for the new production.

Directed by Daniel Goldstein and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Christopher Gattelli (South Pacific), GODSPELL begins preview performances at Circle in the Square Theatre (1633 Broadway at 50th Street) on Thursday, October 13, 2011. Opening Night is Monday, November 7 (7 p.m.).

On Sunday, September 18, the company of the upcoming revival of the legendary rock musical GODSPELL celebrated the birth of its first 'Broadway Baby,' as director Daniel Goldstein and his wife Melissa welcomed their first child, daughter Gracie Eloise Lee-Goldstein, into the world at 6:17 a.m.

It's a night of season finales on WEEDS (10p) and THE BIG C (10:30p) on Monday, September 26th.

With all the chaos of getting two kids back to school, making the transition from summer to cool weather and preparing for the upcoming High Holidays, it's been hard to get my kids to the theatre. Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, opens its 37th season with the Chicago premiere of Snapshots: A Musical Scrapbook, music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by David Stern.

The new shows of the 2011-12 Broadway season are set to be filled with celebrities of every variety- from Samuel L. Jackson to Hunter Parrish, to Ricky Martin, but there are still plenty of A-Listers out there who have yet to take their first bow on the Great White Way!

This time, Broadway came together in support of 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, engendered by 9/11 Day's 'I Will' campaign (911day.org) which seeks to encourage millions of people to perform good deeds, support charitable causes, and volunteer in tribute to the 9/11 victims and survivors, and all those that rose in service in response to the attacks.

The Broadway League announces more about the special event scheduled to take place on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 4:00pm in Duffy Square when the Broadway community will mark the tenth anniversary of 9/11. This event will encore the iconic performance that took place one decade ago when Broadway performers helped inspire New Yorkers to return to normalcy with a landmark outdoor performance.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party is an extreme open mic that has been running every Monday for the past eight years at Birdland, the historic music room in Manhattan's Theater District. It's also a bi-monthly event at The Magic Castle in Los Angeles.
