SHN is delighted to announce the arrival of RICHARD III by William Shakespeare, featuring Kevin Spacey and directed by Sam Mendes, coming to San Francisco this Fall. The Curran Theatre is the only U.S venue, other than BAM in New York, to host this landmark event. Tickets for RICHARD III go on public sale Friday, August 19.

To kick off the return of its hit original series WEEDS (10 PM) and THE BIG C (10:30 PM), SHOWTIME will premiere the mega-hit ECLIPSE, the third installment of the Twilight Saga, on Monday, June 27th at 8 PM ET/PT.

Licensing is full speed ahead for DOROTHY OF OZ as more than a dozen licensees have already agreed to create merchandise for the upcoming feature film. The 3D CG-animated musical starring the voice and musical talents of Lea Michele as the beloved Dorothy Gale is produced by Summertime Entertainment, which is founded by the Carroll Brothers, the multi-media production company set on revitalizing the beloved Oz franchise.

The full company is announced for the final season of The Bridge Project featuring Kevin Spacey, artistic director of The Old Vic, in the title role of Richard III. The Bridge Project will open at The Old Vic in London on June 29, 2011 and then embark on an international tour including the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, Spain's Centro Niemeyer, Hong Kong Arts Festival, and Singapore Repertory Theatre, arriving at BAM's Harvey Theater in New York in January 2012. Further international tour dates to be announced shortly.

Parker Posey, Alan Alda and Hugh Dancy will soon be making appearances on Showtime's 'The Big C.' Alda will play one of Cathy's new oncologists, while Dancy will have a recurring role in the series. Posey will play a love interast for Adam.

Upcoming film DOROTHY OF OZ will feature music by Oscar-nominee and 15-time Grammy winner, Bryan Adams, writing original songs for the feature with his writing partner, Jim Vallance. Along with Grammy-Award winning songwriter Tift Merritt and Emmy-winner Jim Dooley. Lyricist Mike Himelstein. Music supervisor is Vicki Hiatt (Ali, Hannibal, Madagascar, Open Season). According to a report by Variety, Maggie Gyllenhall, Jonathan Pryce, Rupert Everett, and Hugh Dancy will al be starring in the upcoming indie flick 'Hysteria'. The film, which was written by Stephen Dyer and Jonah Lisa Dyer, will focus on the invention of the vibrator in Victorian Era England.
