Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's New York City Center engagement is one of the Company's 'most exciting seasons yet' (Metro), and the thrill continues as the holidays approach. The Company's inspiring Christmas Eve performance will begin at 7:30pm and features Ronald K. Brown's spellbinding Grace, Robert Battle's stunning world premiere Awakening, and Alvin Ailey's must-see masterpiece Revelations - 'the gift that somehow keeps on giving' (The New York Times).

Renowned dancers and choreographers will teach master classes at the Ailey Extension in conjunction with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's New York City Center season (December 2 – January 3).

Last night's Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's ODETTA premiere performance was star studded with guests including Harry Belafonte, Laverne Cox, Jessye Norman, Carmen de Lavallade,Bevy Smith, Suzanne Vega, Ruben Santiago Hudson, Michela Angela Davis, Khalil Kain, Rochelle Aytes, Pastors Michael A Walrond Jr., and Reverend LaKeesha Waldrond attending the world premiere of Matthew Rushing's. Fittingly, ODETTA, which celebrates the legendary singer known as the "voice of the Civil Rights Movement." premiered on National Human Rights Day. The Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. On Sunday July 20, 2013, the Ailey Citigroup Theater presented an evening of original works for a good cause: the support of the Ailey Dance Resource Fund-ADRF--which provides financial assistance to company members in the form of career transition grants, creative endeavor grants, and emergency loans.
