Jackie Hoffman Will Come to Bay Street Theater

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce Jackie Hoffman: From Broadway to Bay Street Monday, July 2 at 8 pm as the first concert of the Music Mondays concert series on. Hoffman takes over Bay Street Theater for a night of show tunes, covers, original songs, and "kvetching on an operatic scale" (New York Times). Tickets range from $59 - $89 and are on sale now at baystreet.org and through the Box Office at 631-725-9500.

Padua Playwrights Presents MAYAKOVSKY AND STALIN

Two love stories. Two suicides. Padua Playwrights presents the world premiere of Mayakovsky and Stalin, written and directed by legendary poet/playwright Murray Mednick (The Gary Plays), opening at the Lounge Theatre on July 21.

Mark Cortale Productions Makes Plans To Relocate Provincetown Theatre Base For Summer 2019

Mark Cortale, Producing Artistic Director of Provincetown's internationally known Art House theater, has announced that he has begun to search for a new summer location for 2019. Cortale learned last week that the twin 120-seat theaters at The Art House will be gutted by the property owner after the current summer season due to restaurant expansion plans. The news comes on the heels of seven consecutive seasons of remarkable success; thriving outposts of its famed 'Broadway @' music series in major venues across the country and abroad; and the recent announcement of its largest lineup of Broadway, comedy and music stars yet for its P-Town home.

CCA Wattis To Present Works By Adam Linder For 20th Anniversary

The Wattis Institute launches its 20th anniversary year with the exhibition Adam Linder: Full Service, a survey exhibition of five choreographic works by Adam Linder (b. 1983, Sydney, Australia; lives and works in Los Angeles). The exhibition is on view at the Wattis Institute from September 8 through September 29, 2018, with performances taking place all day, every day, during open hours. A precise schedule appears below. The opening reception is Saturday, September 8, 2018, from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

Ali Stroker And Hannah Corneau Join The Cast Of Transport Group's Concert Of PROMISES, PROMISES

Transport Group has announced that additional casting for Promises, Promises-its second musical in this season's Anne L. Bernstein Concert Series-will include Stanley Bahorek (Amazing Grace, Queen of the Mist), Lauren Blackman (Anastasia), Hannah Corneau (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Marc Kudisch (Finding Neverland, Hand to God), Sean Mclaughlin (Hello Dolly), Bruce Sabath (Cagney), Tally Sessions (War Paint), and Ali Stroker (Spring Awakening).

Join us in the park! Curtain Players is pleased to present Charlotte's Web by E.B. White. The beloved children's book has been transformed into a play by Joseph Robinette. It tells the story of a young pig on the Arable family farm who is saved from slaughter. That pig, named Wilbur, tries to make friends with everyone at his new home on the Zuckerman Farm and finds comfort with his closest new friend, Charlotte, a spider. Charlotte repeatedly saves Wilbur by writing words about him in her web. Performances run Thur-Sat, June 14th thru 23 th at 7:30 pm.  Bring lawn chairs andor blankets as it's all free lawn seating (donations accepted). Parking will be available in the park along Alum Park Drive (accessible from W. Mandy Patinkin To Present Mlotek Prize

National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) and City Parks Foundation's SummerStage will present Yiddish Under the Stars, a cavalcade of ensembles and individual performers, leaders of the international revival of Yiddish music. The free concert will take place on Wednesday, June 13, at SummerStage in Central Park, 72nd Street near 5th Avenue. Emceeing Yiddish Under the Stars is comedian and two-time Emmy Award nominee Jackie Hoffman (Charlie And the Chocolate Factory, The Addams Family, Hairspray), who is set to appear as Yente the matchmaker in NYTF's Yiddish language Fiddler on the Roof this summer.

AN AMERICAN IN PARIS to Host Broadway Dance Masterclass

Celebrity Attractions, in association with Tulsa Ballet, is proud to present a special dance masterclass with the national Broadway tour of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. The masterclass will be held Wednesday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Tulsa Ballet studios located at 1212 E 45th Place in Tulsa. AN AMERICAN IN PARIS Dance Captain Christopher Howard will lead local metro Tulsa area dance students ages 14 and up in an advanced level workshop. Student sign-ups are now open and must be made in advance.

TEVYE SERVED RAW with Tevye Stories Left Out of the Musical to Open Off-Broadway in July

Find out what happens to the beloved characters in Fiddler on the Roof after the musical ends. TEVYE SERVED RAW is an evening of Sholem Aleichem material, with adaptations of his Tevye stories ("What, Me Worthy?" and "Get Thee Gone!"), scenes from his own long-unseen Yiddish stage version, and three of his purely comedic stories, newly adapted ("Strange Jews on a Train," "The Yiddish Sisyphus" and "A Stepmother's Trash-Talk").
