Flushing Town Hall’s popular series, Mini-Global Mashups, will present another installment this summer on Sunday, July 24 at 1 PM EST with its Gospel Meets Côte d’Ivoire concert. 

On Sunday, June 19, at 7:00 p.m., the Healing of the Nations//Samuel Dewitt Proctor Conference in association with Carnegie Hall will present a Juneteenth Celebration event in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that the Broadway premiere of Trouble in Mind by Alice Childress, is partnering with radio station 107.5 WBLS-FM, the nation’s most recognizable Black radio station, offering 300 tickets at $19.57 to every preview performance in every section of the theater. 

BAM R&B Festival returns for two weekends of free performances at Fort Greene Park, set for Saturdays and Sundays, October 2—3 and October 9—10. The widely-known festival, which has grown to become one of Brooklyn's beloved outdoor traditions, brings together the community and groundbreaking artists—from music legends to bold new voices across the genre of R&B.

Other acts include Baba Don and the East Harlem Latin All-Stars, Forces of Nature Dance Company and the cast of Broadway's Ain’t Too Proud. Tickets will be available on Apollo’s website on August 23. Proof of vaccination will be required to attended.

Join Brandie Sutton and Damien Sneed for a virtual concert highlighting American Masters on Friday, January 29 at 8pm.  This intimate virtual performance of voice and piano will explore the works of George Gershwin, Leslie Adams, Undine Smith Moore, Duke Ellington and more. 

Multi-genre recording artist Damien Sneed whose latest tour stop at Wharton Center celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will be returning to campus as an artist-in-residence.  Sneed will work with Wharton Center and the MSU College of Music, helping to bring social impact programming to both institutions.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the contemporary Gospel music group HeavenSent in concert on Saturday, March 30 at 8 pm, hosted by UPN's Half & Half and Nickelodeon star Chico Benymon. The concert also features guest artists: Serena Tyson and Ruby Bias.

Today, Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles share their intimate, pulsating live rendition of 'Trade It All' from their exclusive JammJam performance, presented by Jammcard. The live session was recorded at Sayers Club in Hollywood, surrounded by Jammcard's premier network of musicians, industry professionals, colleagues and friends.

This December, the Apollo Theater will celebrate the holidays with offerings for the entire family. Holidays at the Apollo includes programs that will celebrate culture, music, and community during the festive season. Additionally, as part of Holidays at the Apollo, patrons can save $3 per ticket  by bringing a donated item (children's toy, home goods, or canned good) to one of the holiday shows.

Carnegie Hall today announced additional guest artists for A Night of Inspiration, an evening of uplifting music on Saturday, December 15 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. Under the direction of acclaimed producer, composer, and music director Ray Chew and co-produced with his wife and business partner, Vivian Scott Chew, the exciting program features an all-star roster of artists including Regina Belle, Shirley Caesar, Koryn Hawthorne, Adrienne Bailon Houghton, Israel Houghton, Kenny Lattimore, Ledisi, Patricio Molina, Iyanla Vanzant, Bebe Winans and The String Queens. The stellar lineup joins previously announced artists Travis Greene, J.J. Hairston, Cantor Azi Schwartz, Richard Smallwood, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, and an outstanding instrumental ensemble.
