East Lynne Theater Company to Restage MR. LINCOLN

? On Good Friday, April 14,1865, when the President and Mrs. Lincoln were watching "Our American Cousin" at Ford's Theatre, John Wilkes Booth entered the President's box.  A few days earlier, General Lee had surrendered to General Grant at Appomattox. 

ELTC to Host MR. LINCOLN Student Matinee, 5/11

On Wednesday, May 11, there will be a 2:00 p.m. matinee of "Mr. Lincoln," primarily scheduled for school groups. This one-person play about the 16th President had such a successful run for the Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company last summer, that the company is bringing it back for a full two-week run before taking the show to Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.  

Easy Lynne to Offer Free Performance of TOM SAWYER, DETECTIVE

Tom Sawyer, his Aunt Polly, and Huckleberry Finn leave their St. Petersburg, Missouri home to pay a visit to Polly's sister, Sally and her husband Silas on their farm in Arkansas. On this trip, Tom and Huck encounter thievery, a dead body and possibly the wrong man being accused of murder. Leave it to Tom to figure it all out and save the day in 'Tom Sawyer, Detective.'

East Lynne Theater Company to Host TWO SCOOPS AND A STORY, 6/30

The Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company is partnering with The Henry Sawyer Inn and The Vanilla Bean Creamery to offer a delightful event for the whole family, 'Two Scoops and a Story,' on Tuesday, June 30 from 3:00p.m.-4:00p.m. at the Inn, located at 722 Columbia Avenue, Cape May.

MR. LINCOLN to Open East Lynne Theater Company's Season

On Good Friday, April 14,1865, when the President and Mrs. Lincoln were watching 'Our American Cousin' at Ford's Theatre, John Wilkes Booth entered the President's box. A few days earlier, General Lee had surrendered to General Grant at Appomattox. Although there was much to be done to repair the nation, the fighting was finished, and the President had the opportunity to attend one of the funniest comedies of the time, starring Laura Keene.

East Lynne to Present OUR AMERICAN COUSIN, 3/22

One-hundred-and-fifty-years ago, on Good Friday, April 14, 1865, President and Mrs. Lincoln attended 'Our American Cousin' at Ford's Theatre in Washington D.C. During the third act, John Wilkes Booth entered the President's box to fire the fatal shot.

On Sunday, January 25, Elizabeth and Stuart Hodes are hosting their annual fundraiser for the award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company at 3:00 p.m. in their home located at the corner of 31st Street and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan.
