AN ILIAD Extends at Berkeley Rep Through 11/18

According to reports from the front lines, standing ovations have dashed all hopes of an armistice. The reasons for the war are almost forgotten, but today it was announced that Greek forces will continue their siege of Troy at the Tony Award-winning Berkeley Repertory Theatre. An Iliad, the stunning new show starring Henry Woronicz, has extended its run due to popular demand. Two performances have been added - at 8 PM on November 15 and at 7 PM on November 18 - but the show must close on November 18.

THE THREEPENNY OPERA at Intiman Theatre Opens 2/16

Seattle Shakespeare Company announced today its plans to produce The Threepenny Opera at the Intiman Theatre. The Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill musical satire about the dapper criminal, Mac the Knife, and the denizens of his seedy underworld will run February 16 through March 6, 2011 for 15 performances only.
