A reading of the new musical The Count of Monte Cristo was presented on October 11th at Tuacahn Center for the Arts. Scott S. Anderson directed the private presentation of the musical penned by the Tony Award nominated team of Frank Wildhorn, composer, and Jack Murphy, book and lyrics.

This summer at Tuacahn Center for the Arts, a little girl's dream comes alive as she takes you on an enchanted journey through popular Disney classics including Hercules, Mary Poppins, Tarzan, Aladdin, Moana, and many more surprises. The adventures in this musical never stop as you journey deep into Walt Disney's classic film vault.

Jim J. Bullock (Too Close for Comfort and Broadway's Hairspray) and Josh Strickland (Broadway's Tarzan) head Tuacahn Amphitheater's 2019 season. This year, Tuacahn is recreating some of their most popular productions from the past.

From the Oscar-winning team Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz comes a lushly scored retelling of Victor Hugo's epic story of love, acceptance, and what it means to be a hero. THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME opened August 5 at Tuacahn Amphitheatre and will run through October 15. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Back by popular demand, go "under the sea" as Tuacahn presents Disney's Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical. This stage adaptation of the beloved Academy Award-winning 1989 film comes to life at Tuacahn in a magnificent stage production the entire family will enjoy. Tuacahn will be one of the first regional theatres in the country to present this updated version of Disney's The Little Mermaid, with new orchestrations which have enhanced this fabulous production.

For today's blog I thought it would be fun if I talked about the art of getting ready for a show, but with a slight twist. Now that we are towards the end of our run here at Tuacahn our show time is at 7:30 with a half hour call time of 7pm.
