Goodspeed Musicals wants to help singers and actors to succeed in dance auditions.  In keeping with our mission to educate and support artists, Goodspeed will offer its first Goodspeed Movers Boot Camp January 6 - 8, 2017 at Pearl Studios in NYC. 

Drama Desk and OBIE-winning Transport Group has announced that Tyne Daly (Master Class, Mothers and Sons, It Shoulda Been You, Rabbit Hole), Jason Danieley (The Visit, Chicago), Hannah Elless (Bright Star, Godspell), and Marc Kudisch (Hand to God, Finding Neverland) will join Richard Thomas ('The Americans,' You Can't Take it With You) in its concert of A Man of No Importance, which takes places Monday, December 5 at 8pm at the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street.

Lincoln Center Theater's new production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos opened just last night at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48 Street), where it runs for 14 weeks only . As BroadwayWorld sadly reported earlier this week, Marni Nixon, perhaps best known for dubbing the singing voices of the leading actresses in films, including THE KING AND I, WEST SIDE STORY and MY FAIR LADY, passed away from breast cancer on July 24th. She was 86.

The Triad will be the setting for librettist/lyricist Michael Colby's 65th Birthday bash on Sunday, October 30th at 7pm, presented by his colleague and pal, Sandi Durell, publisher and editor of entertainment site, TheaterPizzazz.com.
