The play is set in the English country house of the Bliss family in the 1920's. Their plans of a quiet weekend with invited guests come to an exhausting and hilarious finale. The Players Club of Swarthmore opens its 2018-19 season with the Frank Loesser musical masterpiece Guys and Dolls Sept. 14-29, for ten performances at 614 Fairview Ave. in Swarthmore. Directed by Anthony SanFilippo, this classic musical comedy about sinners and saints follows Nathan Detroit as he sets up the biggest craps game in town under the eye of the law and straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown.
