Photo Flash: Burn The Floor Previews On Broadway 7/25

Years before Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance turned ballroom dancing into must-see TV, one sizzling show was setting stages ablaze around the globe. BURN THE FLOOR, the electrifying Latin and Ballroom dance spectacular that has thrilled audiences in over 30 countries, will be the first show of the new Broadway season, playing a limited 12-week engagement. Previews will begin on July 25 and opening night is Sunday August 2 at The Longacre Theatre (220 W. 48 St.). Tickets go on sale Monday, June 15, 2009 at www.telecharge.com , 212 239 6200.

Popular Dance show BURN THE FLOOR will play Broadway's Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street) for a limited run beginning July 25, with an opening night set for August 2. 'BURN THE FLOOR' Makes Its SF Premiere 1/30-3/15

The sexy international dance sensation Burn the Floor, making its San Francisco premiere January 30-March 15 at the Post Street Theatre, has signed on with the Australian Team to be featured in NBC's dance-themed reality/competition series, 'Superstars of Dance.' Created by 'American Idol' creator Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe of 'So You Think You Can Dance,' the show will feature teams of professional dancers from eight countries competing against each other in various dance genres. Each team will consist of two solo dancers, a duo and a group. 'Superstars of Dance' premieres Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 9 p.m. on NBC.

'BURN THE FLOOR' Tix Go On Sale 1/2, Show To Run 3/24-3/29

Tickets to BURN THE FLOOR, a thrilling dance tribute and part of the Stanford Broadway Lights Series, go on sale Friday, Jan. 2. The show will play at the Belk Theater March 24 - 29. Tickets start at $20 and will be available online at BlumenthalCenter.org, by phone at 704-372-1000 or in person at the Performing Arts Center box office in the Belk Theater.
