Popular Dance show BURN THE FLOOR will play Broadway's Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street) for a limited run beginning July 25, with an opening night set for August 2. The production will run through Sunday, October 18.

From Harlem's hot nights at The Savoy, where dances such as the Lindy, Foxtrot and Charleston were born, to the Latin Quarter where the Cha-Cha, Rumba and Salsa steamed up the stage, Burn the Floor takes audiences on a journey through the passionate drama of dance," according to Telecharge.com. "The elegance of the Viennese Waltz, the exuberance of Jive, the intensity of the Paso Doble - audiences will experience them all, as well as the Tango, Samba, Mambo, Quickstep, and Swing. It's Ballroom dance with a sexy 21st century edge.

Burn the Floor is produced by Peta Roby (International Grand Finalist, Latin American Dance) and Harley Medcalf, and features direction and choreography by Jason Gilkison.

Tickets for the Broadway engagement of BURN THE FLOOR will go on sale Monday, June 15.

BURN THE FLOOR will play the following performance schedule: Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday through Saturday at 8pm. Matinees performances are Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm, and Sunday at 3pm.
