The Danish String Quartet, celebrating its 20th Anniversary season, will return to the U.S. for one week—January 22-29—with stops in Santa Fe, NM, Portland, OR, Wheaton, IL (west of Chicago), Boston, MA, Albany, NY, and Ridgewood, NJ. 

On Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 7:30pm in Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, yMusic will perform the world premiere of Allison Loggins-Hull's Supply, inspired by addictive relationships, and the New York premiere of former Carnegie Hall Debs Composer's Chair (2020/2021) Andrew Norman's Difference, both co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall.

California Symphony announces the World Premiere of the third and final commission for California Symphony by Young American Composer-in-Residence Viet Cuong (2020-2023) will be a piano concerto (title TBD), to be performed May 20–21, 2023 in Fresh Inspirations, the orchestra's momentous season finale concert. It was further announced this new work will feature nationally acclaimed pianist Sarah Cahill as the guest soloist.

 In February 2023, Chatham Baroque welcomes back soprano Sherezade Panthaki for The Isle of Delos, a program featuring the sublime music of Èlisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, a keyboard prodigy in the court at Versailles turned composer extraordinaire. Panthaki will join Chatham Baroque artistic directors Andrew Fouts (violin), Patricia Halverson (viola da gamba) and Scott Pauley (theorbo), as well as other guest artists, for this celebration of France's foremost woman composer and contemporaries.
