David Cook Will Make His Broadway Debut in KINKY BOOTS

Rock singer and former American Idol David Cook will be making his Broadway debut as Charlie Price in Kinky Boots this spring! Cook will begin performances on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. He will play a limited run through Saturday, May 5, 2018.

The Heels Are Going Back On! Wayne Brady to Return to the Cast of KINKY BOOTS

Kinky Boots producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Emmy Award-winner and Grammy Award nominee Wayne Brady will step back into his heels as 'Lola' in the Tony Award® -winning musical Kinky Boots at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) beginning on Monday, March 5, 2018. He will play a strictly limited run through Friday, April 26, 2018.

As previously announced, there will be a 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert benefit celebration of the 2002 Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. The concert will star two-time Tony Award® winner Sutton Foster, Tony Award® winner Gavin Creel, Tony Award® winner Harriet Harris and other original cast members for a one-night-only benefit to raise funds for The Actors Fund. Last night, Sutton Foster shared a photo on Instagram of herself and Gavin Creel with the caption 'This sure feels good.'

Harrison Ghee as Lola, the matinee audience took part in a full-theater photograph to commemorate the show's milestone performance.

New York Producer Rod Kaats Named Artistic Director at Ordway

The Ordway Center for Performing Arts announced today that producer and director Rod Kaats will assume the position of Producing Artistic Director beginning February 1, 2018. Mr. Kaats succeeds James A. Rocco, who stepped down from the Ordway last year.
