The Rose Theatre announces upcoming productions.

The Associated Press reports that the NFL will be officially announcing that American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson will be performing the National Anthem at this year's Super Bowl XLVI on February 5th. Clarkson announced the news on her twitter account yesterday.

The Original Theatre Company is bringing Timberlake Wertenbaker's award-winning play, Our Country's Good to Rose Theatre Kingston this January. The production tours nationally from January 25th to April 27th, starring Aden Gillett and Philip Whitchurch.

Skylight presents the premiere of Beyond the Ingénue, featuring Niffer Clarke and Richard Carsey. Coming off Skylight's critically acclaimed production, The Music Man, Clarke and Carsey reunite for a musical theatre piece that pays homage to the golden-voiced sopranos Niffer Clarke grew up idolizing.

On Wednesday, December 14, A Christmas Story, The Musical! celebrated its opening night at Chicago's legendary Chicago Theatre with producer Peter Billingsley, who starred as Ralphie in the original 1983 film, there to cheer the company on. Check out photos from opening night below!
