Birdland Jazz Club has announced its exciting line-up of unmatched talent for today, July 8 - July 14, 2013.

Happy Birthday Claude-Michel Schonberg! Schonberg is best known for his collaborations with the lyricist Alain Boublil. Thier stage musical version of Victor Hugo's Les Miserables, which opened at the Palais de Sports in Paris in 1980, opened to acclaim in London in 1985 and on Broadway in 1987. In 1989, their success continued with the musical Miss Saigon, which starred Lea Salonga and Jonathan Pryce. Schonberg's next project with Boublil was The Pirate Queen, a musical about the 16th century Irish pirate, chieftain and adventuress Grace O'Malley, which opened on Broadway on April 5 2007.

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) Broadway production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood begins previews tonight, Friday, October 19th at 8:00PM. The Mystery of Edwin Drood stars Stephanie J. Block, Will Chase, Gregg Edelman, Jim Norton, and Chita Rivera with Andy Karl, Jessie Mueller, Betsy Wolfe, Nicholas Barasch, Peter Benson, and Robert Creighton. Finishing Ithaca College Theatre's 2011-2012 main-stage season is William Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure.". Performances will run in the Hoerner Theatre in Dillingham Center on April 24, 26, 27, and 28 at 8 p.m. and 2pm matinee performances on April 28 and 29. There will be a free talk-back presentation following the April 28th matinee performance.
