Germ Free Adolescent centres on Ashley, a teenage girl with OCD. Developing an obsession with STIs, Ashley collects sexual health leaflets and offers an advice clinic at school. As she reels off numerous statistics, her peers assume she's highly experienced with sex, but in fact it's the polar opposite. When boyfriend Ollie invites her over, Ashley is of course nervous, however behind the laddish exterior, Ollie is also a virgin.

The Public Theater announced complete casting today for the major New York revival of A BRIGHT ROOM CALLED DAY, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner.

Following the success of his first season at The Bunker, Artistic Director Chris Sonnex's new season cements his vision for the theatre, representing and sharing the stories of its community. With a new festival with work from Black artists, a new work from Anna Jordan, debut plays from emerging writers and the return of the sold-out My White Best Friend (and Other Letters Left Unsaid), The Bunker is the place for ambitious creatives to share their work with adventurous audiences.

Clubbed Thumb held their gala earlier this week, honoring playwrights Heidi Schreck (What the Constitution Means to Me), Jaclyn Backhaus (Men on Boats), and Sarah DeLappe (The Wolves) and their feminist disruption of the American theatre.  Special guests for the evening included Tatiana Maslany, Lila Neugebauer, Grace Gummer, Pam MacKinnon and Anne Kauffman, among others.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The critically acclaimed theatre company, Mason Holdings, will premiere their new site-specific production of Consumption, at the Beverly Social Club in Kensington Brooklyn. The limited engagement runs November 9 - December 8.

The Long Dumb Road, a film by Hannah Fidell, Starring Tony Revolori, Jason Mantzoukas, Taissa Farmiga, Grace Gummer, Casey Wilson, and Ron Livingston, opens theatrically in NY on November 9th and will expand to LA and additional markets on November 16th.

USA Network today announced the fourth and final season of the award-winning MR. ROBOT will return in 2019. From Universal Cable Productions (UCP), production will begin this winter in New York.

Due to overwhelming ticket demand, Second Stage Theater has announced a one-week extension of the New York Premiere of TRACY LETTS' acclaimed play, MARY PAGE MARLOWE. The production will now play through Sunday, August 19.
