Based on Shakespeare's delightful comic romp Much Ado About Nothing, the opera embodies the composer's love for the Bard

The L becker by M.J. Joseph will be released nationwide later this month. A sweeping tale of historical fiction that unfolds against the backdrop of World War I,The L becker is slated for simultaneous publication in print and electronic editions. The L becker will be available where fine books are sold on January 23, 2018.

The YIDDISH KING LEAR, written by Jacob Gordin (aka the Jewish Shakespeare), is without a doubt one of the most famous Yiddish plays of all time. Starring David Serero in the title role of King Lear, this unique play will be performed on January 30th and February 1st 2018 at 8pm at the Orensanz Foundation located in the heart of the Lower East Side, New York.

Carriageworks today unveiled a major new commission by renowned German artist Katharina Grosse of a site-specific installation representing the third in the Schwartz Carriageworks series of major international projects. The world premiere of the work titled The Horse Trottted Another Couple of Metres, Then it Stopped is presented free to the public at Carriageworks from 6 January as part of Sydney Festival 2018 and continues until 8 April 2018. Grosse's exciting new work envelopes Carriageworks, responding to the unique industrial architecture and grand scale of the heritage building.

Analog Arts and Elizabeth Huston will present the Philadelphia premiere of Karlheinz Stockhausen's 'KLANG: The 24 Hours of the Day' at FringeArts on April 7 & 8, 2018. 'KLANG' is a 21-part cycle of individual pieces and the final, epic statement of one of modern music's most important composers. Charting the journey of the soul out of the body into the afterlife, KLANG is a kind of requiem for Stockhausen and a fitting capstone to his monumental career.

La MaMa presents the world premiere of GEMINI STARS / SCORPIO STARS by Pioneers Go East Collective. The production is conceived and directed by Gian Marco Lo Forte in collaboration with Daniel Diaz. Performances begin tonight, December 7, at La MaMa Experimental Theatre.

The internationally and locally acclaimed performance of Wagner's complete Ring Cycle given by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil), reaches its fourth and last part - G tterd mmerung - on 18 and 21 January 2018 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall. Once again, the HK Phil's Music Director Jaap van Zweden conducts the performances and is joined by a cast of world-renowned Wagnerian singers and outstanding choruses.

The performance will be followed by a talk with translator Neil Blackadder, director Guy Ben-Aharon, and Jacob M. Appel, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
