The Department of Theatre Arts at Western Connecticut State University is proud to present its Spring Virtual Production Series. The series comprises four unique productions that will be broadcast twice over two weekends spanning Thursday, Apr. 29, through Sunday, May 9. A ticket to each performance date will allow the purchaser to access the show over the course of 24 hours that day.

Music Director and Roy and Lillie Cullen Chair, Andrés Orozco-Estrada returns to Houston in May to close out the 2020–21 Season with two magnificent Classical Series concerts featuring Mozart's Sinfonia concertante, K. 297b, E flat major and Piazzolla's Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas (Four Seasons of Buenos Aires), May 7–9; and a program of instantly recognizable and famous overtures including Mozart's Don Giovanni, Beethoven's Egmont, Mendelssohn's The Hebrides, and more, May 14–16.  And, for the first time, Orozco-Estrada will conduct the livestream of the BBVA Family Series, May 15 at 11 a.m.

Strictly Come Dancing’s golden couple, Aljaz Skorjanec and Janette Manrara, return for a socially distanced iteration of their latest big budget production. The pair have toured every year since 2017 with homages to Fred Astaire and the silver screen before this tribute to the Oscars became a COVID casualty in 2020. Timing this year means, once again, hopes of live performances have been quashed, but never ones to sit back, Skorjanec and Manrara are offering fans an abridged version for streaming, featuring an elaborate cast of singers and dancers.
