#EduHam is a series of HAMILTON Wednesday matinees made available to New York City schools with a high concentration of students from low-income families for the ticket price of only $10. This educational partnership, made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation, is not only providing 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see HAMILTON on Broadway, but provides educational material by Gilder Lehrman to incorporate material from the musical into the American History curriculum. HAMILTON's Education Program to Kick Off Next Week in the Bay Area

The innovative educational program that launched last year at Hamilton on Broadway will debut in San Francisco on March 22 when 2,200 students and teachers from 18 area Public Schools attend the matinee performance of the musical at SHN Orpheum Theater at 1192 Market Street at 8th Street.

The innovative educational program that launched last year at Hamilton on Broadway, in partnership with The Rockefeller Foundation, will debut in Chicago today, February 22, when 1,900 students and teachers from 30 Chicago Public Schools (CPS) attend the matinee performance of the musical at Broadway In Chicago's The PrivateBank Theatre (18 W. Monroe Street).

George London Foundation to Welcome Paul Appleby & Sarah Mesko in Recital

Tenor Paul Appleby, the 2011 George London Award winner who, it was recently announced, will be in the cast of the world premiere of John Adams's Girls of the Golden West with San Francisco Opera next season, teams up with mezzo-soprano and 2015 George London Award winner Sarah Mesko and pianist Ken Noda for the season's second event in the George London Foundation Recital Series at The Morgan Library & Museum on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at 4:00 pm.

Winners of the 2017 George London Awards Are Announced

The winners of the 46th annual George London Foundation Awards Competition for young American and Canadian opera singers were announced at the conclusion of the competition's final round this evening, which took place in a front of an audience at Gilder Lehrman Hall at The Morgan Library & Museum in New York City. 

Finalists Announced for Friday's George London Awards Competition for Singers

Tomorrow afternoon, 18 young American and Canadian opera singers will perform with pianist Craig Rutenberg before a panel of judges and an enthusiastic audience at New York's Morgan Library & Museum, hoping to win a George London Award, an honor that has been conferred upon hundreds of the best young singers since 1971.
