MONDAYS For BIDEN, a group conceived by Broadway’s Jeffrey Schecter, announces their interactive virtual fundraising event “DANCING For DEMOCRACY” in partnership with Broadway Sessions and Broadway for Biden on Monday October 5th at 9:00pm EST. The group was formed to provide a virtual place for busy artists, humanitarians, parents and all who want to help JOE BIDEN become our next US President. 100% of donations raised during this event go directly to the Biden Victory Fund. MONDAYS For BIDEN and DANCING For DEMOCRACY creator, Jeffrey 'Shecky' Schecter will host along with fellow Broadway veteran and A Chorus Line alum, J. Elaine Marcos. It promises to be a spirited and dynamic one-hour virtual experience featuring performances and testimonials by some of Broadway and Hollywood’s most well-loved performers. You’ll get to hear first hand why a Joe Biden presidency is important to them and to the future of this country.

The York Theatre Company has announced 2 additions to its organization: Gerry McIntyre, York's new Associate Artistic Director, and Alana Graber, who is the company's new Director of Development. There are many good reasons you might choose to see GODSPELL under the tent at Berkshire Theatre Group's Colonial Theatre. Whatever the motivation, you will experience a new, fresh, relevant, powerful, topical, and most certainly different production. You will also be making history as part of what many see as the rebirth of theatre in America.

The first musical in the United States to be approved by Actors' Equity Association has officially begun performances. Berkshire Theatre Group's Godspell is being presented outdoors in an open-air tent adjacent to The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, and is scheduled to run through September 4.

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced they will be producing Godspell this summer - the first musical in the United States to be approved by Actors' Equity Association in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With a small cast of only ten, the simplicity and small scale of Godspell made it an ideal choice to move forward with given current concerns. Performances will take place under a tent in the parking lot of BTG's Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield. To allow for Social Distancing, the audience for each performance will be limited to 75-100.
