Today, Tmapp, in association with CBO Entertainment, announced that the Equity Showcase production of FOR ALL MY GIRLS: A Musical Celebrating the 'Everyday Diva,' has changed venues. Beginning Friday, December 9, 2016, the musical will play MIST Harlem (www.mistharlem.com), uptown's premiere live performance and special event venue through December 20, 2016.

Based on the New York Times bestselling picture book by Jane O'Connor with illustrations by Robin Preiss Glasser, the musical has a book by Cara Lustik and Matthew Hardy, music by Randy Klein and lyrics by Matthew Hardy and directed by Sam Viverito. Mamma Mia has come to The Overture Center in downtown Madison this week! The feel good musical that is jam packed with catchy tunes is going to be in the capital city for a few more days. Georgia Kate Haege, who is playing Donna Sheridan for the second time, as well as Jeff Drushal (who plays Sam Carmichael) were kind enough to provide me a little bit of time this morning. In the final stretch of the national tour, I got the chance to sit down with these two lovely performers to chat about their show and what they have going on next.

It has no huge morally important message to deliver. It won't be stopping wars or fixing societal unrest. But what "Mamma Mia!", currently playing at the Paramount Theatre, does do and has always done is to be fun. A fluffy, bubblegum, rockin' good time and seriously that's enough.

Mamma Mia! what a way to open a season. Mamma Mia! the feel-good musical that has over 5,000 performances on Broadway opened Tuesday October 7 at the Music Hall in Kansas City, MO. Phyllida Lloyd directs the Broadway Across America special engagement that runs through Sunday October 12. Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus wrote the music and lyrics with choreography by Anthony Van Laast.
