MIKE JUDGE PRESENTS: TALES FROM THE TOUR BUS, chronicling the exploits of legendary music artists, begins its eight-episode second season FRIDAY, NOV. 2 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on CINEMAX. While the first season of the show spotlighted country musicians, the new season focuses on funk music greats, including George Clinton, Rick James, James Brown and Bootsy Collins. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Parliament-Funkadelic founder Clinton serves as consulting producer and provides original music for the series.

Texas Singer/Songwriter Jerrod Medulla is enjoying his first Number One single with “Unbroken Horses” from his independently released album, Suits Me. The song reached the Number Two spot two weeks ago and jumped to the top spot last week on the Texas Regional Radio Report.

Outlaw country artist James Carothers has released his new single, “Sinners and Saints,” off his upcoming album, Still Country, Still King: A Tribute To George Jones. Modern country outlaw Mickey Lamantia signs exclusive booking contract with True Grit Talent Agency. His latest single “Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms” rising up the country charts, having just been added to Spotify's Country Rocks playlist and recently debuted on Hillbilly Jim's Moonshine Matinee on SiriusXM's Outlaw Country channel. BMI recently presented country hitmaker Max T. Barnes with four “Million-Air” Awards, which includes one for his late father, Max D. Barnes' “Chiseled In Stone,” which reached one million broadcasts. Max's “A Night To Remember” and “How Your Love Makes Me Feel” have both received two million radio spins, while “Love, Me,” made famous by Collin Raye, has garnered a whopping four million radio plays.

 Hot Country TV's International Artist of the Year Max T. Barnes has officially released his latest single, “You Gotta Be Putting Me On,” and its accompanying music video internationally. Bostonians will have another reason to welcome autumn along the Charles River when the Celebrity Series of Boston presents Jazz Along the Charles: A Walkable Concert. After receiving close to 100 applications, a selection committee comprised of educators, administrators and performers from Boston's thriving jazz scene has chosen 25 ensembles to perform at a series of connected, walkable locations along the Charles River Esplanade, interpreting the same curated list of Boston-related tunes in one collective free concert.

Guitar slinger Jesse Dayton has released his new album The Outsider today via Blue Elan Records. The Outsider was literally recorded while on tour in Atlanta, Denver, Nashville and Austin and mixed by Grammy Award winning engineer/producer Vance Powell (who has worked with the likes of Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell and Jack White).

Guitar slinger Jesse Dayton has announced the release of this forthcoming album The Outsider, out June 8, 2018 on Blue Elan Records. In anticipation of the release, he has shared the first single “Hurtin' Behind Pine Curtain” via Guitar World. Jesse Dayton's career reads like a who's who of American music, having recorded guitars on records and film with Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Ray Price, Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, Glen Campbell and more. He has toured the world with punk legends X, filling for guitarist Billy Zoom on a 40-city U.S. tour. Rob Zombie asked him to write and record a soundtrack for his film 'The Devils Rejects,' which then lead to co-writing songs for Rob's follow up franchise film, 'Halloween 2' (which Dayton appears in playing the part of character 'Captain Clegg'). Lee Gantt, who recently debuted his first single “Ruined This Town” is proud to announce that he will be performing at the 2018 CMA Festinside the Music City Center on the Spotlight Stage. His performance is scheduled for June 9, at 2:00 pm CT, with a 30 minute fan meet-and greet-immediately after his set.

Guitar slinger Jesse Dayton has released his new protest song “Charlottesville” via Rolling Stone Country today. The track was written in the wake of the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA in August 2017 that tragically saw counter-protestors injured and killed.  The track appears on his forthcoming album The Outsider, out June 8, 2018 on Blue Elan Records.
