One of the highlights of the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival (Wednesday, Sept. 12 - Saturday, Sept. 22) is sure to be its free, outdoor performances of Massaoke at Parcel 5 for Friday & Saturday on the Fringe, September 14 & 15.

The KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival runs 11 days for the first time this year, so officially opens on Wednesday, September 12 and closes on Saturday, September 22. One of the fastest-growing and most-attended U.S. fringe festivals and now the largest multi-genre arts festival in New York State as well, the 2018 Fringe will offer more than 500 performances and events again this year - over 150 of which are free of charge - in 20+ venues in downtown Rochester.

FotoFocus, the Cincinnati-based non-profit arts organization that champions photography and lens-based art, is proud to announce new programming details for the fourth FotoFocus Biennial-the largest biennial of its kind in America. Organizers of the 2018 KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival (September 12-22) are excited to announce that Eddie Izzard will be its 2018 comedy headliner on Friday, September 21 at 7 p.m. in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, performing his hilarious and revealing show, Believe Me. Tickets start at $26 (fees included) and will go on sale this Thursday, June 14 at 10 a.m.

Dennis Grimaldi will present Tony®Award-winner Len Cariou (Sweeney Todd) in two staged readings ofHarry Townsend's Last Stand, a new play by George Eastman.  Directed by two-time Emmy®Award-winner Peter Scolari (Wicked) and featuring Warren Bub ('Gotham'), the readings will be held on Monday, May 21 and Tuesday, May 22 at 3pm at Nola Studios (250 West 54th Street - 10th Floor/Studio 1).

Artists and producers have just one more week to submit production proposals to the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival, through April 30 at 11:59 p.m. (EST). Those proposals go directly to the 2018 Fringe's 20+ venues via rochesterfringe.com.

Pavel Wolberg (born 1966 in Leningrad) is a photographic artist and a former photojournalist living in Tel-Aviv. Major solo museum exhibitions include: Gemak Museum Hag; Tel Aviv Museum of Art; The George Eastman Museum of Photography and Film, Rochester; Ashdod Art Museum; and Herzliya Museum of Art.

Through April 30 at 11:59 p.m. (EST), artists and producers from all over the world may submit production proposals directly to the 2018 Fringe's 20+ venues via rochesterfringe.com. Based on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe model, the vast majority of the Fringe's 500+ shows are selected by the venues themselves in this way. Only a few headliner shows and the outdoor entertainment are curated by the Fringe itself.

Organizers of the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival announce today that it has been chosen to host the 2018 United States Association of Fringe Festivals (USAFF) annual conference from November 5 7 in Rochester, NY.

Cig Harvey's photographs produce an overwhelming feeling of wonder, admiration, or even fear of the unknown by looking at life on the threshold between magic and disaster, for they are tiny fragments of everyday life captured in a moment of awe. Robert Mann Gallery is pleased to announce You An Orchestra You A Bomb, a new body of work by Cig Harvey. This is the artist's second solo exhibition with the gallery and opens in conjunction with a newly released monograph of the same name.

GRAMMY-award winning conductor Charles Bruffy achieved a career and personal milestone this past Saturday when he received the Signature Sinfonian award from the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America. Founded in 1898 at the New England Conservatory of Music, Phi Mu Alpha is an American collegiate fraternity for men with a special interest in music. The Signature Sinfonian award is conferred upon Sinfonian members who have achieved a high standard of accomplishment in their field or profession, thereby bringing honor to Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Other notable artists who have received the elite Signature Sinfonian award include Luciano Pavarotti, Branford Marsalis, Duke Ellington, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Robert Shaw, as well as entrepreneurs George Eastman and Andrew Carnegie.
