 AMT Theater will debut a new play, Bettinger’s Luggage, written by Albert M. Tapper and directed by Steven Ditmyer from September 19 to October 26, 2023. The cast includes Lou Bettinger who will be played by Richard MacDonald; George Bettinger (son of Lou) will be played by Connor Stewart of As You Like It, Teens on Broadway, and Titus Andronicus; Bessie Bettinger (sister of Lou) will be played by Lori Marcus; and Angel Diaz will be played by Sean Church Gonzalez of Waiting for Antonio.

Tony Babino, performer Carol Ostrow and the Actors' Temple Board of Directors are celebrating their 101st year honoring the historic entertainers who have passed through their doors, with their annual gala YOU AIN'T HEARD NOTHIN' YET. Entertainers past and present will commemorate this mecca of modern Jewish culture, including Tony Babino, George Bettinger, Sir Frank London and Friends and special guest Star of the Yiddish Theatre, Joanne Borts. The gala takes place on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the Barbra Streisand and Milton Berle rooms of another hub of entertainment greats, the Friar's Club (57 East 55 Street, NYC). The Tony Award winner (The Sisters Rosensweig) Madeline Kahn was lovingly remembered on what would have been her 75th Birthday by some of her show business friends at the Friars last night and Broadwayworld was there.

GEORGE BETTINGER, host of The Mom & Pop Shop, invites you to join him  for HOW SWEET IT IS! A JACKIE GLEASON TOAST, starring Friars Club comedian BOB GREENBERG & singer JIMMIE BUSH, Jr. at the Boca Black Box Center for the Arts on Thursday April 27th from 8-10pm. Fellow Friars, Bob & George have been friends for years & have worked together on many occasions.

GEORGER BETTINGER, host of The Mom & Pop Shop, invites you to join him  for HEBREW SCHOOL DROPOUT,  a solo comedy written & performed by fellow Friar, 3-time Emmy-winning comedian DAVE KONIG, at the Boca Black Box Center for the Arts on Monday, January 16th from 8-10pm.

The original cast album of 'The Irving Berlin Ragtime Revue,' which set box-office records at the 13th Street Theater, is being released September 15th.  To celebrate the release, members of the company  will be singing at Birdland, and on Barry Z's TV show, and promoting the album on radio programs hosted by George Bettinger, Moe Banshee,  Gail Kubik, and others.
