Just last night, Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) presented its landmark 30th Anniversary Gala, at The Pierre (2 East 61st Street at 5th Avenue). Directed by Neil Pepe with musical direction by Matt Gallagher, the annual gala celebrated thirty Atlantic seasons with an evening of music and performances from the Atlantic Ensemble and celebrity artists and honor Charles R. Bendit and Paul E. Pariser, co-CEOs of Taconic Investment Partners for their long-time partnership with Atlantic.

Gallery Players continues its 48th season with a production of the musical, The Baker's Wife. Based on the film La Femme de Boulanger by Marcel Pagnol and Jean Giono, The Baker's Wife features music and lyrics byStephen Schwartz (Wicked) and a book by Joseph Stein (Fiddler of the Roof). A modern day fable of love that has remained a cult favorite, the musical features the songs 'Meadowlark' and 'Proud Lady,' amongst the many other hidden treasures in this musical. This rarely produced musical will warm the hearts of romantics and cynics alike because this is story is not about true love but about the truth in love and how it shapes us. Directed by Barrie Gelles, The Baker's Wife will open on Saturday, March 7th at 8pm.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Washington Ballet is pleased to announce casting and libretto for the world premiere of Septime Webre's Sleepy Hollow, Wednesday, February 18 - Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theater. The Company will be joined by guest artist, Xiomara Reyes, a principal dancer at American Ballet Theatre who will premiere the role of Katrina Van Tassel. Reyes studied at Cuba's National Ballet School. Prior to joining ABT, she danced as a First Soloist at the Royal Ballet of Flanders. Reyes joined American Ballet Theatre as a Soloist in 2001 and was promoted to Principal Dancer in 2003. Her awards include the Gold Medal for the Best Soloist at the International Ballet Competition of Chiclayo, Peru (1996), Best Couple Prize at the XIV International Ballet Competition in Varna (1990) and Silver Medal at the Cinquienne Concours International de Danse de Paris (1992).

Staircase Theatre presents Love Letters, directed by Ryan Gladstone. Sweet and heartbreaking, Love Letters is the story of a 50-year correspondence between Melissa Gardner and her childhood friend-turned-love-interest, Andrew Makepeace Ladd III. Gurney's play, a Pulitzer Prize finalist, has been performed in theatre spaces all over the world, from the New York Public Library to Broadway to Carnegie Hall and back again. A smash hit both off and on Broadway, this limited Valentine's engagement includes appearances by real couples of the Vancouver theatre scene. Andrew and Melissa's story will be told by a different couple every night, including: Meghan Gardiner & Todd Thomson and Mack & Kaitlin Williams Gordon, Genevieve Fleming & Sean Harris Oliver and Michael Fera & Tanja Dixon-Warren. Love Letters runs this week, February 11-14 at The Shop.
