The forthcoming adaptation of Watership Down will feature an original song by Sam Smith, it was announced today. The Grammy, Brit and Academy award-winning artist was inspired by Richard Adams' classic novel to write and record Fire On Fire, an original song that will serve as the theme to the forthcoming animated mini-series. Fire On Fire was co-written with Steve Mac and was recorded by Sam Smith with the BBC Concert Orchestra at London's Abbey Road Studios in September 2018.

dick clark productions announced today the line-up of stand-out performers and talent who will be recognized at the 22nd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards.” Crazy Rich Asians will receive the “Hollywood Breakout Ensemble Award,” Amandla Stenberg will be recognized with the “Hollywood Breakout Performance Actress Award” for 20th Century Fox's The Hate U Give, while John David Washington will receive the “Hollywood Breakout Performance Actor Award” for his role in Focus Features' BlacKkKlansman. Warner Brothers next expected Crazy Rich Asians to be as successful as it has. They predicted the movie would take in 20-25 million its first weekend. Instead, it took in 35 million. In its second week, it took 25 million, remaining in first place at the box for a second week straight and only dropping 6%, bringing in huge numbers for the studio. It is rare for a movie to have such a low drop in its second week; word-of-mouth has been golden and everyone is rushing to see the feel-good movie of the summer that has all their friends and co-workers buzzing.
