With the recent success of partnerships with BabyMetal, Andy Black, Skillet, and Grateful Dead, Z2 Comics continues to solidify their place as the premier creator of music-affiliated graphic novels. The company is pleased to announce they are working with YUNGBLUD on an original concept graphic novel, YUNGBLUD presents The Twisted Tales Of The Ritalin Club slated for release in October. The graphic novel will come with an exclusive EP of new music created by YUNGBLUD specifically for the graphic novel. The deluxe edition, limited to 1000 copies, comes autographed and contains three exclusive prints. The deluxe edition is now available for pre-order here. The video for “For Real,” the latest previously unreleased single to debut from Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, is premiering today. The loving video was directed by Tom's daughter,Adria Petty, and features archival footage and photos as well as intimate, behind-the-scenes moments of Tom and the band. Throughout his storied career, Petty did everything with authenticity—putting the music and his fans first. It is this sentiment that he sings about in the poignant and autobiographical song “For Real.”

Philadelphia-bred rock band The Starting Line have announced EST: 1999 Music + Stories, the band's summer, fall and winter tour celebrating its 20th anniversary. Visiting a number of markets the band hasn't performed in since 2008, the upcoming run will feature full live shows with sets spanning the band's entire catalog, along with storytelling detailing the band's history and narratives behind the songs. The band will visit markets such as Los Angeles, CA on July 20, Cleveland, OH on September 13, Denver, CO on November 15, Dallas, TX on November 16 and more.

MTV today announced nominations across all gender neutral categories for the 2018 “VMAs.” The list includes dozens of artists whose reach and influence have elevated music's relevancy within the cultural conversation.  Cardi B received nods in 10 categories, including “Video,” “Song” and “Artist of the Year,” and The Carters secured eight, including “Video of the Year,” “Best Collaboration” and “Best Hip Hop” for their recent hit single “APES**T.” Other top contenders include Childish Gambino, Drake and Bruno Mars.  The “VMAs” will air live from Radio City Music Hall on Monday, August 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, and across MTV's global network of channels in more than 180 countries and territories, reaching more than half a billion households around the world.
